"You can save some money" The understatement 🙂 German border 600 Euros per month rent for 90m2 flat, 400 euros for 50m2, Luxembourg City 900 Euros per month for one single 12m2 room, 2000 euros for 30m2 studio. Also in Luxembourg simply live in villages where the free public transportation train stop, you nearly have 18 hours of trains out of 24 hours in a day total. Wecker and Wasserbillig are way cheaper per month than Luxembourg City and on weekends by train you can go to Trier where lots of Luxembourgers go to buy clothes, eat in good affordable restaurants and go party in bars at nightclubs, and in the morning on Sundays you take the train back to Wasserbillig
Thanks a lot for your comment again! I live cheap here in my opinion 725e a month in the city center of Lux but I know I'm very lucky also I know that I don't wanna travel back and forth from outside of Lux even for work where now you have to show up almost every day in the office because there is no more tax deal between the cross boarding countries which basically adds 1-3h (depending where you live and how you get to the office) in the communing - I have 15-20 min to work so I can sleep more, go back home earlier, rest, take my time etc and after living my whole life where I was always spending 2-3h a day to commune this is heaven! I also love to be able to go home at any time at night without thinking how I get there and how long I have to wait for a bus - for me it's important but I can imagine for someone else it's not a problem, it always depends on what you need in life, I personally recommend anyways living in Lux city at the beginning as a young person who just started their career (unless you're an introvert and you know you go out at the evening/night very rarely or you seriously don't mind the things I mentioned earlier)
@@ByMagdaYT 725 euros per month is a good price. I understand why you live there for that low price. I used to live in Bonnevoie, later in Hesperange and now a bit further, my 250m2 house would cost nearly double in the City (a City where i work but that has gone more violent and is full of drug addicts and is near empty at evenings especially the Kinepolis area during the week nowadays). 3 hours a day to commute ???
