While I'm here. i created a statistic where I divide by the standard deviation of the various stats before adding, that way the high counting stats and low counting stats get weighted correctly. I call it a Proxy stat. PTS + FGM - FGA + FTM - FTA + 3PM + OREB + TOTALR + A + S + B - TOV except each of the above categories are divided by the standard deviation of the category So if you have 19 pts and the SD is 6, what you add is 19/6 or 3.17. This kind of squishes everything to between 0 and 4 relative to a stat's place in the range of values and is a better way of creating a statistic that indicates a players ability to affect categories rather than just being dominant in one particular category or categories.

Why don't you just put a number instead of an asterisk? That kind of over-complicates what you want to convey ... and you can't re-sort if you change your mind. For example 3 Shaedon Sharpe 3 PJ Washington 1 Andrew Wiggins And lets say you want Andrew to be a 4. All you have to do is edit the number and resort. easier to edit.
