I feel like the extreme accuracy of vessels vocals really highlighted how off the crowds vocals were. 😂 That said, fuck that performance was orgasmic...
@@nicolelewis8975 yeah me too. If you ever get the opportunity to see IAMX in a small venue, definitely go for it. That was one of the most alive concerts I've ever been to...
Vessel's vocal melodies are very complex, theyre catchy so they sound decepitively simple but theyre not easy to sing along to. Add to that not being able to hear yourself when youre singing in a crowd haha.
Here's an honest question from someone who lives in Brazil and is highly unlikely to see them live any time soon: how does Vessel interact with the crowd, if at all? Doest he say anything in bewteen songs, do they greet the crowd, do they say thank you at the end? I'm really curious, I haven't seen Vessel speaking to the crowd in any of these videos, I think..
Vessel does not speak, however all the members interact with the crowd through gestures ect. Vessel does thank everyone at the end of the set, just not through words
@@firemantimmy5367 Well the one he's using for the soft songs is that Mustang - for the heavy heavy stuff, he'll be using that baritone Gretsch or the 8-string Jackson
It's only because the recordings picks it up more than the vocals coming from overhead, especially when this close to the stage. Trust me, you can only hear the vocals from the stage in person :)
You'll probably like their heavier stuff a lot more, they have something for everyone. Try these ones - Hypnosis - The Offering - Vore - The Summoning a lot of their songs are hard to get into for new people on the first listen
That's the problem with a band that defies genre. They have metal elements in most of their songs, but I don't know that I would call Atlantic or other similar songs metal. As said by the uploader, just give a different song a listen. If you REALLY want to see what the hardest they have to offer is, that'd be Vore.
They give off old Slipknot in the sense of not giving anyone anything about their identities underneath the outfits. That’s what Corey meant. Sleep Token is too enigmatic of a band to be called just a metal band or Slipknot-esque musically. Their influences are more related towards the likes of Deftones anyways

The only downside of these super small venues. Otherwise I love the closeness

Wow some really good singers in the crowd
Loving how IV is having a blast interacting with the audience 😂😂😂
the backup vocals sound so pretty at 2:40
Absolutely fantastic
Quality of video is awesome
Awesome concert, I was there, but didn't have a front row view like that! 🤙

They do not speak directly to the crowd. In the past they have used a digital voice over the speakers

Just... how the security guard does not move and sing?...
Thx for the video Owen
its quite funny actually, IV was messing with him during one of the songs (I can't remember which sorry) and they were having a laugh

I was not expecting to only see 6 strings on that guitar 😂
He uses a drop pedal.
@Fireman timmy oh I imagine, lol. It just caught me off guard 🤣
Depends on the song.

@@Strutsss he also uses a what looks like a heavily modded Bass VI too for the songs in double drop B like Granite and Vore
Still hurts that i couldn't get tickets to this thanks to scalpers and scammers. Hopefully they'll come again
Do these people not hear themselves? Singing in key isnt hard. They weren't even flat. They were basically just chanting monotonously.
That off key audience 😅

I hate listening to everyone yell the lyrics...while the artists sing. We get it. You know the song
It is a concert blud
I'm sad I'll never get to experience a live performance by this band. All of the tone deaf people "singing" along ruins it.

*_They are like a generic ghost._*
If you don’t know the lyrics plz don’t sing lol
i prefer the old days with slipknot and mudvayne
That girl yelling out of key needs some water.
It's the most annoying thing lol

Came here because Corey Taylor supposedly said they give off old slipknot vibes. Instead i hear a band made for girls to sing in their cars.

Ok boomer. They have a vast mix of styles including metal. But if it's not metal enough for you go listen to slipknot. 🤡
