Never liked thinking back, like most adults remembering childhood can make you a little sad, but i sat with my headphones on in a park were i used to play and grew up but this music made my memories feel amazing and i sat and smiled for a while, so thank you timecop 1983 for my memories again.
The 80s are my best memories from my childhood...best elementary and high school friends,best Saturday morning cartoons,best music,best movies...best decade ever...I wish to have a time machine and go back to that time...sadly I can't...but the memories will live forever in my heart!

This is giving me bittersweet nostalgia, my heart hurts.
I spent some of my childhood in the 80s in Phoenix, AZ. For some reason this tune hit that memory chord. Instantly brought back to the outrageous clothing, hot weather, distinctive auto styles, neon colors. I imagine Miami, FL would be even more pronounced. Just a bit of nostalgia.
I've waiting for some new timecop 1983 and wait was worth it. Timecop 1983 helped through some hard times it kept me going. Thanks timecop 1983 your music has an effect on people.
OMGOODNESS!! this is awesome!! at 67 yrs old I have had the great privilege of listening to a ton of music from all sorts of era's that was outstanding, but the 80's are on the top of that long list Hint!! Tears for Fears has a new one out called "Tipping Point"
Elementary school memories ... this is the best decade in my lifetime , we can go out till sun is out , just enjoying nature, friends , movies, arcades, without adults , and literally going home with our Bicycles treading kilometers, Kids yes , just like you see in the movies ! I love The Midnight, Kalax, and Futurecop, but Timecop1983 is still my fav of all of them! Pure perfection and immediately takes me back to my childhood/early teenage years (I was born in 1985!).
I wonder how such a masterpiece enters the mind. Like how do Timecop1983 wakes up in the morning and then the magic happens. Does he know what his music does to the soul? That the soul just can't get enough. And plays on repeat until it is exhausted, goes to sleep, and then dreams about a time that once was, but never will be. That the souls wants to live in the past, but all it has it is the now and be. But not a was. This soul just wants more.
Loved it! Hope you come back to Toronto once this is all over and done with, would love to see you and The Midnight together though, would be legendary.
