Its funny how some the most socially awkward people make the best musicians. Arcade fire are a bit awkward, but are one the most popular bands out there.
they're right when they were talking about how if you know too much about the people behind it, it changes the way you experience it. but sometimes that can make it better. like oasis for example. if you didn't know who these guys were, you would probably think all their songs are just bullshit, when really they have that attitude. i'm glad i found arcade fire. :)
@overthehill91 Its based on the suburbs he grew up in and there was kind of a 'war' between the upper class and lower class. So these kids are totally oblivious to all this and are just hangin out and having fun. But eventually it gets too much for one of them so he cuts his hair and changes his attitude. He beats up his friend because there was a subliminal meaning (I didn't catch it) when they got arrested. So he beat him up and started crying because everything that happened.
