Hey Chuck, I'm glad you got to take it out and make passes! The whole idea is to have fun and enjoy the experience and it appears you finally got to after the starter issue. Tom Hoffman is a super nice guy and a good racer! Kinda sucks about the "handshake" deal gone bad. I'm sure there's plenty of guys that would line up to get her. Drive 'em hard like they were meant to! Mark Hovorka
Yeah thanks Mark, it was a good time. Makes me want to go back out again, with some 7290 U joints in the driveshaft. Yes Tom is a good guy and I'm sure that he's going for the Championship, again!
I apologize in advance, my friend - but I admit I chuckled out loud when you said "it's light, yep - air doesn't weigh much". :-) "Let he who is without sin cast the first"....well, we all been dere done dat, suffice to say. Did I hear the 'Cuda breaking up a bit in the top of 2nd and 3rd on those runs, like it was thin on gas? Y'know, I never did a lot of racing, so I never quite got the hang of slicks - I learned on good old hard-assed rubber street tires, which don't work at the track as everyone knows. Sounds like you got shafted on the Louise deal for sure (why does it seem most folks with money have some integrity issues? *to hell with him!* ) - but even more disheartening as a viewer is that it sounds like you're unhappy she's staying? If I had the wherewithal, I'd happily give her a home next to Fred, my friend. She's a sweetheart! Be safe and see you soon, - Ed on the Ridge
Thanks Ed, yes the Cuda is breaking up a bit at higher RPM. Need to look into that. I actually had moved on from Louise and had some other plans. With that being said, it's not a big deal. I'll get to everything eventually.
@@Chuck_House_of_Mopar You can always send her down for a visit to get some elbow room, too. 🙂 No guarantees that Fred might get smitten with her, though.
Glad Louise is sticking around! She's how I found the channel and has been fun to watch as I work on my own 65.
Very cool and yep she's staying. Hope you have the 65 done soon.

I happen to like Louise! Great video.
Cool, thanks she is a sweet machine.
Looked like you guys had fun! I caught the air medal reference lol
Yeah, I heard an old Navy pilot say that once.
Cuda is gorgeous 😳
Thanks Kurt, it does turn some heads.
I'll come get Louise! I had a black 65 sport satellite 4 speed buckets 383 with 440 heads Reed r/t cam my fastest ever car
That sounds like a pretty sweet combination.
Sounds like a sweet setup.
I need to hear , the second gear chirp , in a slow car , like that
With a 2.76 gear it becomes a little tougher to pull off without winding her out.
Sweet Cuda’
Thanks
Bummer on the rain.
Gotta love Mother Nature.
I thought Tom had a Barracuda.
Tom does, and a '68 Charger, '94 Mustang and a '64 Dodge 330. He's a collector.
@@Chuck_House_of_Mopar sounds like a very nice collection.
@@robertheinkel6225 Yep
