I have never been disappointed with the food at Cracker Barrel. My favorite item is the country fried steak with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans. For dessert, either apple or cherry cobbler. Love you guys. My favorite little family! God bless you.
I really like the country fried chicken from CB. But usually, I get the grilled because that's good too. I like their blackberry cobbler when they have that on the dessert menu. Yummo! We appreciate you so much! You are always so awesome. God Bless.

Great review. Grilled chicken was over grilled and we had the French toast apple thing for breakfast and did not care for it. I agree that they should add a biscuit. All in all a good value. Those looked pretty good for the price. I know what you mean about fighting over the microwaves at work during lunch break. We have three microwaves in our breakroom and I work night shift and my food usually only takes a minute to cook so I try to take my lunch a couple minutes before a lot of other people.
That's definitely smart thinking to get in there before most of the people. You lose a lot of your lunch time waiting and it puts you in a rush. It's much better when you can relax a bit during lunch. These meals are quick to heat up so that will also help. Appreciate you watching.

So I’ve learned a few tricks to help them present better, particularly when sophisticated cooking options were not available. These meals strike me as being very tv dinner-like. A fun follow up might be a comparison between the fried chicken and meat loaf options against say, their Banquet equivalents.
I must say those meals did look good!!!…cant beat the price on those…you pay more going to a fast food place!!!…i may have to go pick up a few of those to keep on hand at home….the portions just right for one person…i agree with you cindy a little side dish of salad or a vegetable would be perfect with it…can you just buy those or do you have to eat there to be able to purchase them?…olive garden has take home meals too…..awesome review of these tasty meals❤❤❤

Two minutes was probably just right as David's eyes lit up from the heat lol I'd rather it be too hot than not hot enough You can always let it cool down 😢I thought the first chicken dish looked the best , and the least favorite would be the other chicken meal. But for 5 dollars that's a good deal . My wife and I are going to the cracker barrel tomorrow for dinner, liked the dumplings Carly got on the other video. Nice portions for the early bird options. Definitely didn’t need more than 2 minutes of heat time. The homestyle chicken was very tasty. The early bird deal at Cracker Barrel is definitely a great option. As one Coca Cola drinking dad to another, I’m going to give you some advice. Before drinking the coke, keep the can in the pantry not the fridge. Then pour it into a glass with a lot of ice. That will stretch and economize the coke. It will also end up with drinking a lot more water which will melt into the coke which is much healthier. (Glass of coke with ice and can on the side may also be more attractive for videos)

Most likely I'll go with y'all's unanimous pick the Homestyle chicken and Mac n cheese! The grilled chicken didn't look bad either however I'm not a meatloaf guy so I'd pass on that one and was that a delicious slice of chocolate pecan pie I saw make a cameo appearance? I’d like these meals to have some veggies. An additional side of baked apple would really round out the meal adding both a fruit/vegetable balance and a dessert.
I like the home style chicken best as well, I also like the meatloaf. When I had this choice in the past, grilled chicken and the French toast was not an option.
I would think with the meatloaf, I would decant the meatloaf face down onto a plate. Then I would add ketchup before warming. The ketchup becomes a lovely glaze.

I would say yes. I would put a meal in a gallon sized ziplock freezer bag. Then you could have it for later. Appreciate you watching. ❤️
When warming a tv dinner, I find that it helps to decant the meal to a plate first.
I don’t usually eat many tv dinners due to sodium. But I see how that could help.

We always have a ketchup based sauce. I don’t think I’ve ever had it with gravy but that sounds like it would be good.
Pecan Pie is my favorite Pie! Never had it with Choclate Chips though.

With mashed potatoes, it can help to pause half way through warming and mixing them up.

The grilled chicken is dry because it has no coating the steam will escape cooked internal it will dry out, breast is less fat so no mostness .

Oh no , that would have been a very bad mistake in my case. I have to travel at least 40 miles to our nearest Cracker Barrel. ☹️
Our Cracker Barrel is about 20 miles. So it wasn’t like a short trip. I know mistakes happen but it was disappointing not to have the meatloaf.
