Thank you for this easy information! We've had this message for several weeks now and lost our TV and Roku audio. We were afraid to follow this information because we feared having to deal with lots of setup. After several hours of trying to change all kinds of things in menus, we finally tried it. After turning everything back up, it was setup automatically. We didn't have to do a thing! You're the best!

NOW how do I ( On page 59 of the manual ) tell the front speakers not to play bass OR send only the bass to the subwoofer. I have the remote but cannot figure out how to access the info on pg 59. Nice! It worked. But I forgot how I made the receiver display what kind of signal it is playing. It used to show Dolby digital + or dts hd or whatever. Now it just shows STRAIGHT. Cannot find the setting to change it. It’s the *INFO* button *on the receiver itself*

I have and htr-3060 and sometimes when I press tone control it shuts the receiver off. It does the same when you wanna hold tone control and straight it's starts tuning off and on.
AVR working in case of Decorder off. When my AVR on but not playing any like Radio or Bluetooth or USB etc that time Decorder off appear on display. But when ivstart playing any say Bluetooth etc that message become disappeared is it OK. Plz suggest me

Hi, I have Yamaha RX-V485. I am facing a issue where Receiver doesn't connect to the router in the 'wired' mode at all. It does connect to the router in the 'wireless' mode, but the connection is unstable. I have done some basic checks, such as faulty cable, router ports, etc. All seem fine as other devices when connected do not have any issue. Any thoughts what could be the issue and how can I fix it? Mine is just like that one. Just for some reason I have to hold down the power button for awhile for it to turn off. But then when I let go it turns back on. And holding down the straight button doesn’t really work. It’s a Yamaha rx-v381
Hello Got a RXV-496 with no surround sound output. Right & left. Other output working. Setting enable for both channel and test speakers won't sound nothing on both again. Any help?
My RX-750 stopped outputing any sound from any source. Did restore via internet. Now spotify of CD works, but others have decorder off. With the instructions above it is only showing INIT....CANCEL and not ALL. Would much appreciate help. Is there no old days setting?

Hello. I have had the rxa2a for less than a year. Overnight it stopped producing sound when watching Netflix or Prime for example. All other outputs work fine. Xbox. Virgin tv box. Blu ray etc. There is no "straight" button on the receiver itself. I'm getting PCM or decoder off messages on the display. Any help would be appreciated. Hopefully just a factory reset. Which I can't work out how to do on this model.

Hello I hope you can help me further. Like you, I have the Yamaha RX-V371 and at first the sound didn't work, then I did the reset and then it went for a week. Yesterday I listened to music normally through the system via the 4 AV input with a Toslink cable from the television and in the middle of it he switched off the sound. I restarted it, reset it, tried all HDMI channels and Toslink channels via V-Aux, different cables, just tried everything, tried the test tone in the menu to see if there was nothing at all. Then I tried all the settings and only found out that there was no sound and the decoder was always off regardless of which source I use the device. Do you have an idea or do I have to buy a new device?

It indicates a DC amplifier problem. The Voltage is too "High".
Take the Yamaha to your nearest service provider.
DO NOT fix it yourself.

Your Yamaha receiver is detecting a fault. You will have to take it to your Yamaha Authorised repairer.
