There’s a reason this has 70k views as of now and not millions like most recommended things… because people don’t want to be told the truth. If you’re here right now, that means that YOU chose to click this video saying that “YOU will not be successful”. 99% of people don’t want to see things that are negative towards them, so they move on, but you, YOU took the punch and accepted the challenge. YOU can be that 1% of the 1%, you just got to realize that THERE IS NO BAR that you should settle for, and you ALWAYS HAVE TO keep pushing yourself to rise to the next one, no matter who around you gives up.
Cole, thank you for giving us all a reality check on our lives, it’s about time we show our gen how to survive the bitter harsh environment we call society. Much love for you and your team❤️

I was exactly like this a year ago. I expected to be the star of the world. Beloved all the attention revolves around me. I showed no humility, beloved I was right all the time. When performing to others, my cousin would tell me my pitch needed work and I took that as a threat. With that mindset I was depressed, impatient and just very unattractive to be around. My mental health was trash and used stimulation to get what I wanted. Junk food, movies, porn you know it. Now I’m on self improvement and I’ve been journaling, meditating, improving my social skills and now I’m getting back into music with a crap ton of humility. I make sure I accept everyone’s feedback because now I believe that’s how I get better in doing the things I want to do. I’m proud to say it, I feel very fulfilled, I want to be successful and I know now this stuff takes months, years and even decades to achieve and when you put in the work consistently, you’re putting yourself in the position of wealth. I’m grateful that I’m able to get out of the rabbit hole because now I can put in the work especially when I don’t feel like it ;)

Honestly, this video low key starts out like a description of what a narcissistic person is like, textbook. I almost thought it was like someone spied on my life and decided to do a story on my mom in the part about being entitled and being self focused to such a degree of "me, me, only me" kind of way of treating people around them.
And the get rich quick schemes.
But damn, dude, this video definitely was poignant, eye opening and definitely what I needed to hear for my own good since I really identified several of the points you had covered throughout the vid.
For anyone out there this is like the holy grail of non-malicious and neutral "tough self reflection to better yourself with by taking a realistic look at yourself and giving yourself the right goals to focus on that you'd refuse to hear from anyone else."

When I see my Unhappily Married parents it convinces me to be happily alone, never had a job in my life, never graduated from high school, but if I'm going to be successful with something in this lifetime of mine, it is acknowledging my self-worth and being happy with myself. Besides how can you see the happiness in others if you don't see the happiness within yourself to begin with?! So give peer pressure, families, friends and Society the middle finger, and go in your own path!

I've also looked online for 'how to get rich fast'. Yeah, that's a bunch of nonsense. I think I've let society shape my mind a bit with how things should just be easy - all the time. If deep down we know want to be successful people, then we have to develop how productive and how consistent we can be... And the method I am about to suggest is no panacea but something that will help us build consistency. Alright.. So the idea goes as follows: why don't we form a group outside of all of this where we just be there to really affirm the idea of being consistent. Not a motivational group, but rather a check in group where we share about our "productive day". We can each have our goals written for the period of time we want to complete them, then everyday we clock in, clock out, and build our discipline and so on, then once we reach our goals we share our accomplishments(judgement free zone) the concept is, we (all of those who join) are better doing it in a space that makes our goals feel urgent and feel like they need to be attended to. Really it isn't the most clear idea, but I'm willing to do it, not only to help me, but to also see how far we can all go (I want success for all)... If you like the idea please contact my email vanzuydamkian03@gmail.com

Ive noticed to become the most optimal version of yourself, there are three tiers you have to pass through on the journey:
Lowest Tier: Arrogance/Entitlement. You have a lack of self awareness. This is the worst place to be in overall I believe, hence the video lol.
Mid Tier: Self-Pity/Guilt. You have awareness but can become too aware of yourself that it stops you from moving forward to progress. This is where I’ve tended to linger the most.
Highest Tier: True self-confidence. You are aware of yourself and others equally. You are balanced in how your treat others and yourself. This is the most satisfying place to be!

I think that we need to remember to differentiate "complaining" and "critical thinking."
We absolutely still need to be able to have objectivity and think about the world we're a part of in order to keep us all on the same page about what's universally stuff that's just "hell no, icky icky gross gross yuck, that's a no for all of humanity for all time."
There's still value in comparison to others it's just not anywhere close to mattering to Self value. Even to the worst of irrevocably degenerate and evil of humans don't let comparison actually rule their self worth, it just serves as a catalyst.

I'm an elder... and ADHD as hell. I bumped around my whole life depending on luck and the winds of change to direct my life. I've never had a plan, and basically, don't know how to create one of significance.
I finally got some ADHD drugs, and they beat me the hell up. Sure, I can focus for 8 hours, get stuff done, but this drug is a powerful stimulant, it physically injures me, and I need several days to heal.
Oh well, at least I got some things done.... "one day at a time" has been my life.

Ryu - The Darkening - HIT ME
"Ryu" means that I am HIT ME, Hit Me All The Way, In Any Way, Anyway. HIT ME Always Works., I Do Not Hit. It Hits All By Itself., Everyone And Everything Has This HIT ME Side In It. The Red Bands., HIT ME., The Hits Are A Fact Of Life And The Key To Enlightenment., I Die For It. A Sacrifice For Love., The Way Out Of The Abyss.
So we are what hits us and what we suffer from.
"The Darkening" symbolizes the opposite of "The Enlightenment". Yet these two opposites are one. Because we are all at the same time darkened and enlightened. But "The Darkening"'s dominant form is the nature of suffering while "The Enlightenment"'s dominant form is the nature of blissfulness. And the all-encompassing being "A" holds the unity of all there is, "The Darkening" and "The Enlightenment".
    While...
"HIT ME, Hit Me All The Way, In Any Way, Anyway. HIT ME Always Works., I Do Not Hit. It Hits All By Itself., Everyone And Everything Has This HIT ME Side In It. The Red Bands., HIT ME., The Hits Are A Fact Of Life And The Key To Enlightenment., I Die For It. A Sacrifice For Love., The Way Out Of The Abyss."
can be seen as the relationship with suffering and the hits.
The Words I am using as mantra's and affirmations and also the names for the soundtracks I connected these words and their real experiences with:
Ryu - The Darkening - HIT ME
Ryu - The Darkening - Hit Me All The Way, In Any Way, Anyway.
Ryu - The Darkening - HIT ME Always Works.
Ryu - The Darkening - I Do Not Hit. It Hits All By Itself.
Ryu - The Darkening - Everyone And Everything Has This HIT ME Side In It.
Ryu - The Darkening - The Red Bands (The red bands are bands I am holding on, to transfer the verbal or physical hits from someone or something into my hands. For when I cannot use the words in a direct "HIT ME" experience. Those are bands I am wearing around my forehead and my wrists. They help me deal and heal with the hits.)
Ryu - The Darkening - HIT ME
Ryu - The Darkening - The Hits Are A Fact Of Life And The Key To Enlightenment.
Ryu - The Darkening - I Die For It - A Sacrifice For Love (Things I did wrong and the practice of redeeming myself)
Ryu - The Darkening - The Way Out Of The Abyss
    HIT ME
This quote from the joker actor Heath Ledger from "The Dark Knight" made an enormous impact on me and inspired me to create a philosophy. It helped me making peace with all of that. Through practices of any kind. I have learned to love my trauma, my illness, my feelings, my thoughts, my conflicts, my life and ultimately my suffering. The hits are a fact of life and the key to enlightenment. A hit affects you, internally or superficially. Everyone and everything has this "HIT ME" side in it. And if you set your life expectation to "HIT ME", it always works and you will never be disappointed that way. Because something always hits you. Even if you don't want to be hit by something, it still hits you. Hence, it still works as a life expectation. It even works when positive things hit you. Like soft raindrops or a soap bubble. Same as joy or bliss. Hit me all the way, in any way, anyway. If you devote yourself to such an idea, you decipher the path to enlightenment. This is a good reason to follow the path of loving our suffering as it brings great benefit to one. From ourselves, when we don't want to be hit and don't want to take in the hits, to the desire to be hit and take in the hits. It always works, regardless of the form. As Bruce Lee said: "Be unconsciously conscious or consciously unconscious". Once one has developed a certain level of this practice, one masters the suffering and becomes truly enlightened. I am quoting Bruce Lee again: "I do not hit. It hits all by itself."
The Way Out Of The Abyss
Only when we can accept what we want to let go, can we let go of what we want to accept.
A peaceful mind is the cure for restlessness.
And love is the cure for a broken spirit.
Pain is strength in disguise waiting, to be revealed. And It takes a lot of strength to cry. Because when we cry, we open up to the pain that we experience.
When all the waves come crashing down on you, there is faith to get you through. Express your belief into reality and believe in it. This is how you get through the waves.
We make mistakes, because we are not perfect. And for that fact I am grateful, that I make mistakes.
Remember the solution to any problem is the problem itself. It came into existence and it will not leave you.
A sacrifice for love, is a sacrifice worth dying for. We don't have to undo what we do wrong in this life. We die for it and thus, sacrifice ourselves for love.
So live for the truth and die for the lie. Die for your negative qualities and live for your positive qualities. That is the sacrifice and the salvation of the human spirit.
The guilt we feel is that, which enslaves us. Only when we also remember our innocence, are we free at the same time.
There is nothing in this universe, that can harm a mad person. Except making the mad person even more insane, through harm.
When you are ready to take in all the hits, in order to gain strength from it and at the same time you are ready to pass on all the love out of compassion to others; one will be as strong as a demon and as compassionate as an angel. A demonic angel.
A victory is achieved, by resolving the battles within.
If you give up fighting yourself and instead start absorbing yourself, you will be invincible.
When you change the powers that hold you back, into the powers that hold your back, you will be unstoppable.
You are an example of what a human being is capable of. Take in the hits and use them, as fuel for Ascension.
The greatest bliss is found when you make peace with your suffering. Because suffering is the root of blissfulness. If you love your suffering, blissfulness arises. And blissfulness is the key, to heaven on earth.
If you can defeat yourself, by loving yourself, your fears, your pain and ultimately your suffering; then it will transform you and you will be reborn.
In order to overcome suffering, one has to become suffering oneself.
Because when you are one with all, you are bound by nothing and therefore free from everything.
And through becoming one with suffering you master it.
The journey to enlightenment is a process, that involves a lot of suffering. But in the end every moment of suffering will be worth it. Because choosing to suffer consciously is the springboard, to enlightenment.
That's how you remember your origin and you begin to embody it.
Because where there is suffering, the love spark resides and the fire is kindled where God, or Consciousness enters and spreads out.
Become Ryu, the dragon. Become suffering. Be in a relationship with HIT ME from sadness to madness and become HIT ME and the hits yourself. And Ryu, the dragon spreads its wings and rises. Thus he finds the way out of the abyss.b
