- Since helicopters were added in Microsoft Flight Simulator, the Burj al Arab has been a very popular location. Being one of the most famous helipads in the world, the Burj al Arab pad is the helicopter landing area near the top of the world-famous hotel in Dubai. Tiger Woods, Andre Agassi, and many other notable athletes and celebrities have been on the helicopter pad on this well-known hotel. The notoriety from celebrities along with the design, have made the Burj al Arab Hotel one of the most recognizable places on Earth.
Using Microsoft Flight Simulator, this video will tour three other great helicopter pads in the world one of which was once the highest building helipad in the world. Countries visited around the world include a helicopter pad in Italy that was home to a Fiat factory with a rooftop test track, a large tower in the United States, and a futuristic looking building in Malaysia.
Note - Heliports with identifiers in MSFS were used. There are other interesting heliports, but they are not listed in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS).

Seriously.... great video Dad and very impressed with your flight hours in real life and general cheerfulness. Thanks
This video was a lot of fun to make and it was 100% spontaneous.
With being able to land on any building, I’m surprised that all of the heliports aren’t listed in MSFS, like they are in XP11.
I got that Jeremy Clarkson reference
I was hoping someone would get it.
Great Heliports! How did you "find" the Malaysian Telecom Building in the World Map?
It has an identifier which is WMMT. You can also select filters and show only heliports. There are lots of heliports but many of the identifiers are not recognized by MSFS. The tallest helipad is in Japan, but isn't listed so it did not make the list.
