@@CoopyKat that was a great show. Akins was in a lot of movies. I’ve been hooked on Alfred Hitchcock Present and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Great shows. The Rifleman is my favorite. Those shows started in the 50s and ended in the 60s. I watch them all the time on Roku Tv
You said it! I love The Rifleman, Combat, Paladin, and others that came later. Many of my favorite stars are dead now; I am 71, crippled, had TWO open Heart surgeries, and much more, and wish I was dead too!😢
R.I.P. At least the "good guys & gals" use to win!; Now they do NOT; And many now are part of all the problems! Why can't today be more like many tv series then?😥
I have IPTV and there are a lot of channels called "24/7". Mod Squad has a 24/7 channel, which has NO commercials, back to back FULL episode from intro to ending credits. Most TV shows were filmed in Los Angeles, Long Beach, San Pedro, etc...so it's good to see old background, building, streets and places I've grown up in.
Mod Squad was my ABC After School Special. Early 70s local station aired every M--F 4:00. What got me hooked Linc Hayes always whipped the daylights out of every lowlife.
Agreed! I am OLDER than dirt! I graduated from high school in 1971! Almost got drafted to Vietnam! Maybe I should have, and got killed for nothing! The whole world is so fucked up now, I do NOT wish to be in it anymore! Besides, the doctor/butchers in S.F. crippled me 3 years ago...I lost my home and property, am 71, and have NOTHING to live for anymore!😢💔
This scene for those interested is from the 1st episode of season 1 from the Mod Squad. The title was " Teeth of a Barracuda". If you love the Mod Squad like I do you can still see the series and more if you have cablevision CH. 176 on the Aspire network. Mon thru Fri. Just GROOOVY I say :)
Just discovered this show! It ended a year before I was born. Going to binge watch it, now! Not coming out until I'm done. Send pizza and wish me luck. :)
Trisha Maywood Im in South Africa, so we have pretty much nothing. I think Netflix JUST opened up here, but I havent looked at it yet. But I did manage to get the entire series from ... other ... sources :)
I remember this show as a child and enjoyed it. movies like this didn't have all the graphic content, blood, gore and violence that present movies have today. I miss them.
Mod Squad was a very unique show you had three people who were undercover cops and nobody now that's why they fit in so well they were just like everybody else during that time on the beach having fun but in their case they were arresting people so I take my hat off to my squad because they play the roles well and the captain where he was like a father to them all you take care
I never saw this show. I only know it because I saw its intro on a video. It looks a great show. I wish they would show it again. Just from the clips I’ve seen it looks great.
these three rock. I loved thier chemistry always. all so supressed and beautiful. Why though did it take Link and Pete so long to "subdue" the guy. This is still soooooooooo great to watch , I would love to see full episodes.
I love how Pete and Linc just pound the dude, then Pete grabs him by the hair and pounds him in the face a couple more times. It doesn't look like that one-punch and you're out Hollywood thing. s Julie's character could be tougher, given that she was supposed to be a product of the streets...but I still love Mod Squad! All you get today is shitty remakes and knock-offs of the classics. Even Michael Cole and Peggy Lipton basically said that the Mod Squad movie that came out in 1998 sucked...
In a later episode, the guy they beat up here, Beau Graves (Gary Vinson), comes back and holds them hostage, shooting Linc in the process, almost killing him.
I believe that was the case. Actually, though none of them carried guns, they refused to do so. That was a major part of the premise and something the actors demanded.
@@Scarpia9111 She? What was SHE trying to do? Not sure about your question. Linc and Pete were angry that their female friend was being thrown around by the suspect they were trying to catch. They were emotional; they got carried away. It was realistic.
That's not a station wagon; it's a woodie!! Such a classic car. I was watching American Pickers and I think that a woodie today (restored) is worth something like 50,000 dollars, if you can find one. Later they went with a muscle car, but the woodie was like the fourth member of the Mod Squad. That's where they had their most emotional talks. That, or on a pier. : ) LOVED the Mod Squad.
Hi I see on aspire tv 1:002:00 everyday nice great memories bye ps I was home in new york for the season Elizabeth Culligan Fri 2:58 ps the 2 is just ending my friends peace out

This was a really good show - there were a LOT of good shows in the 60's/70's..........those days are LONG gone!
Long gone, we have their shows to watch.
Have you ever heard of a show called Movin On

Link and Pete best the carp out of him. I've always loved the bond between the three. Friendship and love. It shows.😇
Love it when Linc took that giant leap to take down the bad guys! That was EVERYTHING!
There are a few of those episodes where he just stretched out and flew. Athletic actor with feeling, too.
I remember those too!! Hahahahahahaha

the mod squad was hip and for the times it was spot on in clothes lanuage and issuses. loved it as a kid
I loved this show as a kid in the 70s thought Julie was a doll,Pete and Link the three were great friends one of my favorite all time shows
Me too! I LOVED this show, I was in high school at the time and I WISHED I WAS Julie-who didn't?

Back when you could fit three people into the front seat of a car.
Wish they could make cars like that now

That great, hope you enjoy them all. Let know what's your favorite season. Bye!!!
Loved this back in the day and still love it. It moves slower than contemporary TV/movies etc. but maybe that's a good thing.
Rest in peace Julie when I was a kid I used to watch The Mod Squad every time
Groovy, man! Surf boards on an old woody. Far out! The clothes were mod back then.
Pete and Linc were great partners together.
One of the most beautiful woman ever walked the earth 🌍
Rest In Peace Clarence Williams III 🙏passed away this weekend from Cancer at the age of 81.

that was a very good show. i love the cast and the music too. Jane
I remember this show as a child and enjoyed it. movies like this didn't have all the graphic content, blood, gore and violence that present movies have today. I miss them.
+Rick Rice Same here. There was a sort of innocence about the shows of that time. Even a sort of magic about them.
That's a pretty violent and graphic fight
-you don't see that on TV anymore.
It's all prettified now so some mother in the Midwest doens't faint.
a fantastic show
one of my fave scenes from the shows!!!!
i always wanted pete and julie to get together.
I loved this show

Moral of the story: DON'T TOUCH THE WOMAN!!!!!!
The Mod Squad debuted on ABC Television in September 1968.
Wish they made het charachter not a victim she should have had the moves to beat his a's like diana riggs avengers charachter
would love to see this back on TV
Wow! Ain't seen these since the sixties! Thanks. Mad Magazine did a Mod
Squad Cover in '68. If you looked closely at Link is was Alfred E. Newman.
Thanks for wrecking my place guys!

Where are the psychedelic curtains?
I loved that Woody they drove!!!

i wish someone would post all the full episodes of all the seasons .
Man it took both Pete and Lincoln to take that guy down.
there was an episode where pete was kidnapped and tortured? and when he got free he opened a can of whoop-ass on his captor.
sküll düggery I ordered the DVD set do you know which episode that is
no, i don't. i remember seeing it when i was just a kid of about 10. i'd like to see it again.
sküll düggery season 4 episode 21 the wild weekend. pete was kidnapped by his ex fiancee's boyfriend. yes he did open up the can of whop ass !!!
They beat the hell out of that MOFO..haha Peggy was and still is gorgeous!
Gang bashed by the Mod Squad! Right on man!
Loved this show as a kid. I noticed when she first walked in, the railing looked a little flimsy. Found out why.
Was july ever trained i. Self defence
Funny how they were about 'peace and love' yet someone inevitably got beaten up at the end-either that or the usual car chase or both.
To plant the new garden you have to first dig up the weeds.
Very nice. It's been a while. Thanks
#11 scary watching julie barnes on her knees with that guy pulling the scarf tight around her. neck ,took my breath away
I just realized that there's no background music while they're fighting.
Good grief! They saved Julie from a beating, but they trashed her apartment in the process!
And was Linc pouding that guy in the crotch?
The actor who played the assailant in this scene (Gary Vinson) committed suicide in the early 80s.
WOW
Hey, not fair, two against one!!! LOL!!!
Love the car
Not a car... a Woodie!
In a later episode, the guy they beat up here, Beau Graves (Gary Vinson), comes back and holds them hostage, shooting Linc in the process, almost killing him.
That was a really intense episode, with lots of flashbacks. God, I loved that show.
That was the best episode of the whole series!
I remember that episode. Scared the crap out of me as a kid.
vinylsingleman ...That was the second season with Gary Vinson reprising his role as Beau Graves.
The movie should have been set in the same time period, at least that way it might have made sense!
Horrible casting especially for Pete and Julie. I always pictured someone like Elle Fanning for Julie
Mod Squad reboot....
Your work clothes?
She was an undercover beach bunny/dancer for that episode.
Does anyone here know why Michael Cole didn't make a cameo in the reboot film?
It was lousy that's why.
Bruce Lee as Kato would've taken out that thug in 5 seconds
If I remember the show right, she couldn't have had a gun, she was a juvenile/ex-con or something like that.
I believe that was the case. Actually, though none of them carried guns, they refused to do so. That was a major part of the premise and something the actors demanded.
UM... THAT DOUBLE FOR PETE AND LINC WERE TALLER THEN THEM
Solid!
I wonder who built those handrails...
She put them on the end of the sofa!! :-)
Michael Cole is my relative!
Lipton & Williams both gone 💀
Peggy Lipton and Clarence Williams both died from Colon Cancer. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
Everybody hates chris brought me here
Day 1 taking care of their girl
They were Mod, and in a squad... they were the Mod Squad! Shame they never showed the other stuff going on at night, I bet it was excitingly sexy!!!!
It took two of them to beat this guy?? I wonder what would have happened one on one. I hate mismatches.
They were angry.
@@melissa9375 Two against one and they still struggled to beat one guy?? What was she trying to do??

YUMMY Michael Cole.
back when all cops weren't nazis
julie grew up feally fast in this one linc nerrly dies because of julie lack of good sence
That's what happens when cowards beat up on girls!

Like most shows of the time great but,now very dated!
The love shown between the three of them is timeless, and needs, very badly to be broadcast now. Very badly.
