Just so people understand, Vialle was penalized and Deegan wasn’t, because Tom was on the gas to maintain the same gap he had over his opponent. He had the same gap on Deegan as he did before he went off the rollers. The times Deegan went off, HE LOST TIME. Idk how this is so difficult to understand.

There is no difference at all. I’m a fan of Deegan, but the decision not to penalise shows this sport is Bias on some riders. One sees what one wants to without stating the obvious. clearly watching the replays along side, Deegan is on the gas and had he slowed up the gap would have narrowed. The fact that the gap was the same prior as you say, is reason to penalise. That’s the whole idea of the penalty system, you go off the track, you got to slow down before entering the track. I call BS on this

What makes "The Deeg's" so tough to beat is the fact that he gets stronger the longer the race is . Before he turned pro one of the things that really impressed me the most about him was how he would eventually, (If time allowed) always catch up to and pass the person leading the race if Haiden didn't get a good start . A rider that increases their speed the longer the race goes on is going to be very difficult to beat and Haiden has that ability .

Thats the main reason I dislike the tri moro format in some of the supercross races. People like Laroco. Not known for great starts but climbing to the front by the end of the race will never get a good finish with that format

    • @Derek-dl8tb

Attribute that to his conditioning, of course. It's a no brainer. He's clearly thicker (muscularly) than most of the other riders. And his cardio is something I know he works on. He might just be trying to follow in rc's shoes. Rc rarely faded late.
I'm sure Haiden isn't the only rider who adheres to a fitness format. Rc set the standard in conditioning, spending hours on his cardiovascular strength. His weight lifting added to an overall physical condition that helped, in a large way, to position himself for title after title. It's very likely that Deegans exercise regime tops the other riders.
Whether Deegan reaches the success Carmichael achieved is an open question. Deegan is off to a good start, having won a championship his rookie year. Pretty impressive for a 17-year old.

If they play back and forth all year and the last race decides the winner, I know it will be heart breaking for one, but that would be the best season ever for me and fans!

No matter who you root for its a bad look to penalize one rider nd not another for the same infraction. Neither gained an advantage so no penalty should have been given but since they jumped the gun and penalized Vialle they have to penalize Deegan or its another black eye for the AMA. Its not just this instance they do it all the time it seems as though they are making it up as they go along. If Anderson had done it they wouldve burned him at the stake as soon as he crossed the finish line. They really need to show some consistency for once.

@@seanhaberman4619 dude.. again, Deegan didn’t gain any type of advantage. Even if you hit the gas, as long as you haven’t gained an advantage, it shouldn’t be a penalty. During the first moto, Deegan lost time every time he went off track. Deegan didn’t go off the track in the same position Tom did. When Tom went off, he was on the gas to maintain his lead on Deegan. Which he shouldn’t have keep his gap if going off track. The gap between the two should’ve been smaller but it was the same as before he went off the side of the rollers.
