He was only few players that played in the NFL and MLB in the same season .After his baseball season was over with he would come start his football season. Only special people can play both sports at the highest level and keep the main thing the main thing, meaning he’s capable of doing both, because he did both sports at the highest level, but when he takes another job and his telling his players to stay focused whiles he’s already starting to focus on the next school and trying to do both maybe that takes away from those players’ focus because they aren’t as blessed as him.. A distraction is a distraction regardless at the end of the day and those kids at Jsu were clearly distracted there last game..The main thing clearly could have waited till after the season otherwise he really didn’t value them kids as much as he said he did.

We're not getting 5 star recruits and we don't have the big lights of LA or Nike in Eugene. These programs turn three stars into highly regarded talent, educate them, and send them out the door as honorable men. Coach Prime will fit like a glove in Boulder because those are honorable people who appreciate what Prime is trying to do for the kids first, the program second, and the community third.

For four years I lived in the shadow of that stadium when I was a student there (the practice facility abuts student family housing, where we lived) and the atmosphere there - and the history in that old stadium - is magical. I hope Deion Sanders feels it too. And kudos to him for recognizing the power and awesomeness that is Ralphie (who, I remind everyone, is a girl, not a bull). I have a video I took of Ralphie IV escaping her handlers during the Spring Game in 2007, I think it was. She's an incredible beast, best live mascot in football!

God, I love Deion Sanders! Being a white kid and growing up in Southwest Georgia, 30 minutes from FSU where Prime was balling out, many if not most of my people, family and friends, ridiculed Deion. Never mind his God given talent and the legendary play making ability. They didn’t like his style, his flash, his persona. Family and friends can dictate and influence a lot in life, and they did in mine. One thing they didn’t touch though was my admiration and love for this player. I would have fought someone over that. He will always be in my Top 3 favorite college football players. Being a University of Georgia Alum, Herschel Walker is probably on top in my mind, but obviously that’s because of my unrivaled fanaticism of Georgia football. Deion Sanders was and is more than just a great ball player. He was and IS a great man, a great human being, that anyone, no matter the color, can look up to and model their life after. Them standing there talking about overcoming and achieveing and opportunities and faith frankly reminds me of the documentary/movie of the "Tuskigee Airmen" struggles in life when in the scenes of the movie they would have heart 2 heart moments of dreaming of a better time in the future. This conversation between Prime and Shay has such a nostalgic feeling to it, it's deep. Them standing there talking about overcoming and achieveing and opportunities and faith frankly reminds me of the documentary/movie of the "Tuskigee Airmen" struggles in life when in the scenes of the movie they would have heart 2 heart moments of dreaming of a better time in the future. Very moving and inspiring; should receive a documentary award itself. Video quality is superb. Kudos to the camera folks/editors.
