    7.36b Carry Tier List
My hero guides are mainly for people learning how to play Dota or for those who want to learn how to play a new hero. I aim to teach people the general concept of how the hero should be played and what makes it unique. I'm a Divine player around 5k and don't claim to be the best at Dota, but I do have enough knowledge and experience to help you learn the basics.
I hope you enjoy the guide.

PL's divergence is overrated, you cant farm as fast bc you cant control the illusions, so when it comes to undyings tomb or phoenix egg you loose the trade, the only good thing is that one time we put roshans banner, and the pl illusions never stopped appearing because he couldnt kill our creeps, and it got hella crazy, because of that teamfight, we lost the game

you can instant farm everything once you have aghs, just run around throwing 1 spirit lance per camp, the extra damage on the illusions makes 1 lance enough

Spectre is slept on, with the forsaken talent you can hit the offlane even if he's surrounded by creeps, and get 60% of the pure damage done, making the laning stage better as desolate was a dead ability, now it gets a value point, the other facet is more like a global sniper

Finally somebody fuckin' said it. I've been spamming Spectre with Forsaken & I've lost only 3 games from my last 20. Don't know why people think she's bad. She lanes better now, nobody can fight her even at the laning stage & lvl 10 Health Regen talent helps her too.

agree with most of the top tier carries but IMO weaver > ursa

Weaver is good with insane DPS and harass, but if enemies are smart and adapt to silence/disable him, he dies really easily. Ursa takes an extra mile before you can kill him.

unfettered is vastly underrated. This against bane, beastmaster, warlock, pudge, or any is just so op. Also get sange and yasha, any short-duration-stun heroes would become useless

I really don't think so. The winrate difference between each facet is like 11%. The other one looks horrible.

@@peterkirk8510 unfettered is just a situational pick and the other facet is generally better for sure. Btw dont trust statistics that much. They cannot truly reflect how good or bad the facet is, since it doesn't factor in how players use the skill.

@@truonggiangnguyen4660 if it’s a situational pick, people are picking it when they think it’s better for the situation and still losing far more than the other facet wins…
Winrates factor in how people use the skill and more. You cannot explain away a winrate gap that large, it’s just bad. Ignoring when statistics clearly show something isn’t working is weird. You seem to be the type of person that wants to try to “break the meta” or do weird things that people don’t think work very well because you want to win in a way you think is unique, and, well, that generally results in you being wrong about it most of the time. A single person going against the meta that thousands have developed is often not correct. It’s fine you like the facet, but calling it underrated is just wrong. It’s bad. It turns lifestealer from a top 4 hero + facet combo to a bottom 20 hero + facet combo. Given that there’s 255 hero + facet combos, that’s pretty insane.

@@peterkirk8510 Please elaborate how winrates are calculated. Apart from calculating the ratio between wins and losses, do they really factor in other variables? (how the skill is used?, do players press the skill before or after they get stunned?, do players itemize correctly?). If so, then winrates are 100% correct and i can admit that i'm just dead wrong. If not, then these figures are purely insufficient to conclude that unfettered is a bad facet. Don't get me wrong, as rational people, we should always follow data, but interpreting data incorrectly or even conflating the meaning of such data with another wouldn't lead you to well-informed decisions. Lastly, ad hominem won't work. Looking forward to your response!

@@truonggiangnguyen4660 Because games are decided by how you use your abilities...?
It's funny you say this because unfettered is *easier* to use than rage (you can cast it while disabled and it strong dispels you when it does. Rage requires you to pre-cast it, or cast it while they're attempting to cast their disable). Your point is self-defeating.
And, no, when a facet has 44% winrate and the other has 55% winrate over hundreds of thousands of games, that is plenty to say that the one with 55% winrate is better lmao
For the conclusion to be incorrect you have to be experiencing an unreal level of statistical deviation from the norm. Your questions about "do players itemize correctly" etc is a red herring, because *both* facets should have these issues.
