It’s crazy that Liu Kang technically speaking, is the only person left from the previous timeline, everyone else was reborn in the new timeline.
Geras too. Though I feel while alot of the cast have been reborn, they're (mostly) still the exact same people as their previous timeline selves. Though I'm probably just haggling over philosophy, afterall if you cloned a human being and raised them exactly the same as the original person, you could say they are both reborn and the same person.
@@CTF1998 If you want to get more philosophical, you could say some of these characters are completely different people, because not all of them were raised the same way.

Liu and Raiden are my faves, can't wait to see how Raiden plays, but Liu looks dope. I love the reworked Bicycle kick and the different combos you can work out of it.
I prefer the old one.

Bruh, I'll say Subzero has the best combos in the game, and he pair so well with the other Kameos. His F12 combo gives you free footsie and his B2 launcher can be used twice, only that its very punishable

Liu Kang's Bruce Lee's voice is rarely heard on this MK1. Maybe because he is already being a Protector of Earthrealm for a long time.

Yes, because in the last game raiden was still a part of him but liu kang had to reset the timeline and gave raiden his soul back. The blue fire shows that Liu kang evolved from human fire powers to god fire powers
He got that lighting in his teleport though pause it and you'll see lightning not fire

He's more badass as a mortal I agree to that. Now he moves like a shaolin monk because of his god powers, dress like a god, and acts like a god. No more bruce lee noises, shaolin kung fu instead of jeet kune do, shaolin outfit instead of a badass shirtless bruce lee getup

Why did they remove the run function in MK11 and here why not a dashing system. If jumping is the only way to get close to the character that's sucks, unless u pick up a zooner like Kenshi it will be annonying

Fun game, but also just an HD version of older Mortal Kombat games with a better story. Tekkan and Naruto fight games proved that 3d arena fighting works.

Who else think Liu kang's outfit sucks? I kinda do not like how he is now. Yes, his god powers are coole but, I feel like he moves more like a shalin monk now than bruce lee. Less bruce lee noises, different stance, kung fu moves instead of leaning into jeet kune do. But I get it why they did that now because he is a god that they have to incorporate fluid hand movements to make his power look good and to act, dress fight like a god.

Very Hard mode looks so useless. Some of the times the CPU opponents are standing still without even blocking lol
I mean, if the CPU really wants to kick ass, he can do that, blocking every Attack, will be impossible.
Also dodge the grab, will be a nightmare, like Mortal Kombat 2 in the Arcade.

It's unpopular opinion, but I'm not impressed of MK1 so far.
Everything looks like downgraded version of MK11 (except stages).
I hope they didn't forgot about Great Kung Lao and thunder abilities of God Liu Kang in this third restart of the series.
