I made a jig based on the one you showed in the video and cut my first set of kerfing. Thanks for posting! It worked out great!
Thanks - your jig and procedure worked great!
Just what I was needing! Made my own kerfing my own way, but still had to bend it with heat. Your video will guide my next one! Thanks!
Absolutely brilliant video!
Wry nice work!.Love the simplicity of the jig. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Exactly what I was looking for great help.
Well done!
Top Kerfing and great time saving tips
thank you, very helpful, handy bandsaw jig idea
This is a really helpful video ...thanks
very neat technique. thank you.
Nice ! Great technique!!
How far apart did you space your cuts? How can you bevel this without a hand block plane?
thank you
Is it 1/4 sawn material?
what is the math to determine the correct radius?
doesn't sound like you lift the plane off on the return stroke. Your plane will retain its edge a lot longer if you do lift it on the return.
so first off you need a thickness planer and a band saw , oh well thats me out then.
Or you could use a hand plane and a back saw........ tssk! Lol.
$400 for both on Craigslist. Guaranteed.
That doesn't look like mahogany...
I feel like im going blind watching this
Kerf refers to the width of a saw cut. I'm tired of luthiers calling lining kerfing, it is lining that has sawn grooves in it.
