While making 'This Opportunity' I realized it shared some mimic vibes as well as Ennard vibes, so I thought it'd be fun to make my own mimic short to go along with the song.

The Mimic is a program that was not only created to mimic a man’s son, but he’s also inside the the entire network of the Pizzaplex, and is in the form of Glitchtrap.
You could say The Mimic program is like a hive mind, but Help Wanted 2 showed us that Helip is a counterpart of Glitchtrap, and The Mimic we’re both arguing when Cassie was at the catwalks of Monty Golf in Ruin.
Edit: So while there can be other versions of The Mimic that are from the same program, they can be different. 🤔

I have to say as of recently animators have been killing it with the concept of the mimic and making it so cool and amazing and not the shit concept and this it is and the games. Actually making the mimic a ai learning and starting to believe it is William afton then having it be a bipolar endo that has no idea what it wants to be. I still believe glitch trap and burn trap are William but this is a cool execution that I wish the actual lore for the games and books weather they are parallel or canon would do

Huge W. I believe this song fits perfect with Mimic considering how there were hive minds of multiple mimics in the 80s. He never deserved and will never forget of what Edwin done to him…
I don't think he cares what Edwin did to him as he is just a machine. He doesn't have human emotions, he isn't possessed or has advanced ai like the glamrock animatronics. He seems to be acting purely on his programing.
@@Errorvirus404 Mimic is a Al programmed to mimic humans and animatronics to learn. So that means it's sentient and learning to be something/someone. It even got infected with agony, which is only gonna bring more life. So it isn't mindless and technically does have a
"soul". Especially with what Glitchtrap looks like in Princess Quest. You could say that is it's true form. It's agony essence. By the end of The Mimic (story), it has reached a point where he cannot necessarily be redeemed, which is terrible considering the context of HOW he came to be.
@@agonyremnanttrap6789 not to burst your bubbles but agony isn't a soul. It doesn't bring things to life it just makes those that are infected want to cause pain and suffering to others.
@@Errorvirus404 It most likely does. I never said "agony is a soul" I said it "technically does has a soul" just not in a way you think it'd be. Agony which is just emotional energy from a negative emotion can't. William also says too in The Fourth Closet that the spirit follows the flesh, but also the pain, and Andrew in Fazbear Frights says he wanted to be everywhere which is why he infected in the first place, and later says the infected items have a piece of him in them now, which says souls/ghosts can split and follow their own emotional energy like they can follow their own body. It is emotions can be left behind on objects and make them “haunted”. The most powerful of these emotions is agony. Technically Remnant since that's just agony in metal with sometimes a soul.

0:01-0:11 this line actually fits him really well since if I remember correctly in the 80s there were multiple mimics that were connected to each other so they are quite a hive mine
(This is also how mimic knows about the MCI one of his clone saw William lead a kid into the safe room and do the deed)

It seemed to me that the Mimic1 program had been taken over by Afton's personality, which led to his return, albeit in a non-real form. And not that this noname accidentally saw him and started cosplaying him. 😑 (what crap is this)

I love this animation. It also made me realize how cool it would've been had the mimic just killed roxy. Having her presumably be alive seems like they just want to ride off the success of the glamrocks as much as possible.
When I first saw this animation, I absolutely loved both the music and the animation. After rewatching the video like 5 times, I clicked on the lyric video and was like “oh man, this is a straight up banger”. It is only after a few days of me revisiting both masterpieces that I realized you created both.

This is a very wrong video for the new fans as it does not at all show the true lore. It's all just a headcanon of the GlitchMimic believers who either never played SB and Ruin themselves, or who never looked around the game for the details. Because if they did, they would know Mimic never for once tries to copy William or act like him in the Tales books and is actually a completely new character in the games what is different from the Mimic in the books. Entity is Glitchtrap/William, and even SteelWool proved it with their Easter post. Easter represents "rebirth" or being "reborn", and they posted a fanart of Entity. Pretty self-explanatory, really.
We need a full song of this
