I moved to Iowa in 1977, and just this year discovered The Little Red Hen AND The Stitchery Nook. I feel like I was under a rock! I have the pleasure of living 1 mile from the Woolen Needle, my fave hangout. So it's so good to hear y'all giving them some love. Enjoy your time here this fall! I'd love to magic wand a Saviour's Praise, only because it's going to take forever and I want it on my wall. It's wonderful.
Love you lady! When watching your videos, I feel like I’m sitting and stitching with you. Thank you for being such a wonderful bright part of this amazing community! Sending good thoughts and vibes your way when you move your dad into memory care. I’ve been in your shoes twice, once with my momma and my mother-in-law. Even though we know it is for the best, it’s still tough. Take care, enjoy stitching when you can, and we’ll see you when we see you! 🦋💜
From the very first stitch, I was wishing my Sue Hillis Halloween ornament from Dark Shadows was just done! The fabric was terrible, too loose, floppy, uneven stitches. Thankfully I finished it. Never again old WDW! Great finishes and it was so good to see you and Zero. Sending congratulations to Harrison! ❤️❤️
Stitching "Forever Young" for my granddaughters college graduation (hopefully someday she will appreciate it). Seems like it is taking forever, but getting close to finish. I always look forward to your StitchyTube. Adds a little joy to my day.
Glad to see you back, Theresa! I can't think of any of my stitchy projects that I just wish was done. Luckily I adore everything in my WIP pile, even if I need a little break from them once in a while. LOL Thank you for sharing your tribute to Barb and sharing your stories and thoughts.
What a beautiful tribute to Barb Adams! Yes she will be sorely missed in the cross stitching and quilting world. Thank you Teresa for doing your videos
Good to see ya! I was looking for a spoon and found Ham Rock. The fiber on a whim 28 count I was lucky enough to get from you is awesome. All your products are top drawer. Glad you got to see your son. 😊 so we will see you when we see you on utube. It's always a treat whenever 🌹
So nice to see you and all the beautiful things you've finished lately! That quilt top is really pretty. And Zero is such a lucky cat! Thank you for rescuing him.
It is always great to see you!! What a beautiful tribute to Barb and Blackbird Designs. I am so happy that you are trying to stitch a little everyday. If I were to have a stitch magically finished it would be the PS alphabet. Thanks as always and happy stitching.
I enjoy your video visits so very much. If I lived nearby I would come help you pack orders or something! Thanks for taking time out to visit with your fans. I love your shop as well. Congratulations on your son's graduation and your chance to go see him.
So nice to see you this morning. Appreciate all that you do. I plan to stitch today and catch up on floss-tube. I too work full-time plus plus and was visiting family yesterday (blessings). Now time for me. It’s also going to be 98 today (on the patio until I can’t take the heat).
Enjoyed seeing you again. Nobody can replace you. Glad you are making time for what you love. Today you showed a few BBD I hadn't seen before. I am hoping for reprints of the favorites that are shown. I hope my eyes and hands will let me stitch them all! LOL I would enjoy Winter Garden with the animals.
Great to see you again. You always bring a smile with your singing😊 If I could use a magic wand on one of my WIPs, it would be "Black Sheep Sampler" by Elizabeth's Designs - I have enjoyed stitching it, however, the border is making me friends with a certain 🐸🤪 Enjoyed your "Top Ten" tribute to Blackbird Designs. Beautiful designs I have not seen before. So excited that you will carry the new fabrics by BBD. Thanks for sharing the salad recipe. Take care. Hugs to Zero. Happy Stitching!
I have enjoyed binge watching your videos while stitching. Great job. My magic wand finish is Anniversaries of the Heart. Love it but I just want it done already. Thanks for all you do for the stitching community. Sandi
I always love seeing you and the kitties anytime you can. Loved tour tribute to Alma, so touching. Sending you a virtual hug to you and your family with your Father. ♥️ My magic wand project is a wedding sampler for my son that’s in hibernation. Enjoy your summer.
It was so good to see you today!! Glad you’re doing well. Looking forward to seeing you at the fall Midwest retreat! Love the family photos at the end ❤️
Love your projects. Quilt fabulous! If I had a magic wand that could magically finish a project, it would be my Mirabilia “The Kiss” I started in 1995, almost finished, but got into full blown Mommyhood & put my cross stitch away for over 25 years. During the pandemic in 2020 I got back into cross stitching again. So many amazing charts! I fell down the rabbit hole and now have so many amazing charts & WIPS in not even a year of stitching again. The Kiss deserves to be finished it’s pretty awesome.
Thanks for another awesome video Teresa…congratulations on you finishes…thanks for your touching piece on Barb Adams…she has left us so many patterns to enjoy…I am sorry your dad has to go into memory care…that is devastating to lose parts of your father or mother…my mother was there, but not there, so I understand…I wish my cataract surgery was over so that I could stitch…I doubt my surgeon will understand “40 count fabric” as a criteria for the lens implant…Zero is adorable…hope you and yours are well…wishing you joy and happy stitching/designing ❤️
I only have a couple cross stitch WIPs. I tend to work on something until I’m finished. I do have a sampler quilt I made over 30 years ago and I wish I could snap my fingers and have it backed and quilted. Love your videos. Thanks for your excellent shop. I order regularly- not a lot at a time but you’re the first place I look for something.
Congrats on your son. It’s awesome to have your kids turn out well. The wip I wish was finished would be my Jane Bostocke. The pattern sucks lol. Beautiful WTNT finish. Love it. Your quilt is adorable. Palisade peaches are the thing here. Barb was so sweet. She will truly be missed. Thanks for visiting. I enjoy them.
The WIP I really need to finish is a design I made for myself in memory of my kitty Dorothy Lamour who passed away from cancer this summer. I love it and need it to be done so I can frame it. Love your stitching and thanks for sharing a little bit about your life! We have a house full of rescues and I loved your story about Zero! Until next time...Hugs from NE Ohio.
Thank you for showing all of those older Blackbird Designs. I am relatively new to stitching and only know what is currently available. I love Blackbird charts. What you showed gave me better historical perspective on how their designs have evolved. Yeah. We have great food here in Denver. That’s why we have to climb mountains on the weekends!!!
So glad to hear you are taking some time for you & spending some time with Jen. Renews the spirit being with like minded friends. Love your quilt top! I learned the hard way, that putting the "air mask" on yourself, is best for those around you. Congrats on the graduate. Kat
My wip that i wish was done is summer autumn and winter by blackbird designs, I love this design so much but I can’t stitch it fast enough!!! So happy to see you back, really missed your flosstube but understand how busy you are! Take care of yourself
It is always a pleasant surprise when your videos pop up. You are a joy to watch. My WIP that I would like magically finished is Little House Needleworks' "Sampler ABC, " the series of nine houses which I am stitching in one piece. I have six and a half houses finished, and I love the designs, but I haven't felt like stitching it lately. I am not giving up, however. Someday I will have it finished and framed! Thanks, Theresa.
I love watching your Flosstubes. You always have the neatest WIP's and they are so beautiful. "Feather Your Nest" is amazing and I see why you love the big bird. He's so cute and I'm not really a bird stitcher .I wish I could wave a magic wand and finish the Wizard of Oz Mystery Sampler from Satsuma Street. It is taking forever!
Oh Magic Wand-please work your magic on my Red House Sampler by Brenda Keyes at The Sampler Company. It’s such a fun stitch but those flowers along the border edge are slowing me down. I just wanna get to that red house! So good to see your happy face again, Theresa. Thanks for making a bit of my Saturday so happy and relaxing as I stitch on this crazy border!
The WIP I wish was magically finished right now is a Dimensions kit Keep the Spirit. Enjoyed visiting with you today. Thanks for sharing and happy stitching!
I have a goldwork project that I wish I could wave a magic wand at to finish! :) I like Goldwork but I'm over this project. Lovely to see you again, return when the mood hits you. Congrats to Harrison! Kisses for Zero and Ruby.
What a wonderful tribute to Barb Adams! I really enjoyed seeing all of your Blackbird projects. The wip I need to finish soon and so wish it was done already is a Wedding Sampler that I have been working on for my son and his wife. I am almost done ~ just have specialty stitches left. Thank you for your video! :)
Great Flosstube, as usual. I’m sorry your father and family are experiencing his loss of memory and functioning. I wish my Plum Street Liberty’s Welcome would finish itself! I also appreciate and admire how you openly mention seeing a therapist, get medical massages, etc. Lisa
You are very entertaining! A one woman show! Everything from your shopping extravaganzas, the blackbird mostly out of print show, Alabama peaches, spaghetti salad recipes! Never know where you’re going to go… Love it! Also love your store. I do a lot of shopping, and the only thing that stops me from buying even more is my budget! The piece I wish were completed by now is called Groningen by Owl Forest. I am a new stitcher and this is my first attempt on 32 count, and I am finding it difficult to keep count.
Good to see you again! You are so full of knowledge - I always learn something new! My WIP I wish was done is Coming To America by With Thy Needle & Thread! I was going really well on it but then had to put it away & work on Christmas Ornaments, birthday presents, wedding presents, etc. Something else always gets in the way of stitching it! I just wish it was done! I love the Fiskar Snips that you showed from your shop! Have a great rest of the summer!
So happy to watch your video. I know you have been so busy but happy that you were able to get away for awhile. It was nice to see the picture of the family. You must be very proud of both boys. The tribute to Barb was great. She sounds like an amazing person. My oldest wip is Catherine Spangler. It takes a little longer because of the specialty stitches. I need to get back to it.
Theresa, your videos are treasures! We enjoy them whenever you have a chance to make them. If I had a magic wand, I would tap to finish my Fruit of Plenty from Modern Folk Embroidery. I have gorgeous silks and fabric for it, but it takes so much extra concentration for me. At this rate, it will be completed by me in 2032. 🤣😂🤣😂. Thank you for giving an amazing cuddle bunny like Zero a happy home!!
Hi, Teresa! I just want to say that YOU are absolutely AMAZING, and I (and I’m sure many, many others) REALLY appreciate all that you do for the cross stitch community. You have a giving heart, and a very beautiful spirit. I think that about sums it up! You and your family will most certainly be in my prayers as y’all transition your father into his new living situation. 🙏 ♥️. Lots of hugs, Meline
Loved your video!!! Wonderful news about BBD fabrics. So sorry to hear about your Dad, will keep you and your family in my prayers. Take care of your self and see you when ever!!!!!! Hugs Lynn
Loved your video. Thank you for mentioning the little red hen shop. It us new to me. I have looked every where for a sampler thread color I need to finish a chart. No one has it. I checked the shop and they have it. So excited they had it. I also found two quilt patterns. Looks like a great shop. Our French bulldog we named Zero. We needed a name that ended in O. We have a golden doodle named Tango and a black and white cat named Figaro. Zero is the dogs name in Nightmare Before Christmas and who we named our dog after. Thanks again for the great video.
I wish my Scarlet Letter Jenny Bean 1794 was finished. I wasn't able to stitch it on the black linen so I had the bright idea to fill in the background in black. I always enjoy your flosstubes and am in the home stretch finishing Spooky Countdown which I purchased from you at Needlework Galleria 2019!!
Thank you for your video. So nice to see you again. I would never presume to make suggestions on what you should do, just grateful you still want to share any time that you have with us. Thanks for the lovely tribute to Barb, you've done some lovely pieces. If I had a magic wand I think I would wave it over Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow. I love it, but let's be honest, each block is pretty much full coverage, and I am not a full coverage person. So great you got time with your boys! Try not to work so hard, take time for yourself and happy stitching!
So enjoyed all of this video. I love your sense of humor. In particular loved the BB8 comment on the Fiskars snips and I still have the orange Fiskars shears in my junk drawer. As for a magic wand finish, I would like to use it to FFO a simple FO reindeer pillow top I stitched in the ‘80’s. Thank you for the lovely tribute to Barb Adams. 💔
Lovely to see a new video from you, and the news about the BB Designs fabric! I would employ the magic wand on my Forget Me Not by Modern Folk Embroidery. I love the design but I've come to dread stitching on the charcoal-coloured linen I picked for it - I'm on the verge of quitting it and restarting on something else!
Great video. Thanks for your time! Love that kitty paw sticking up. 😍 I’m a storm-lover, too, which is good since I live in Florida, the lightning capital. Be sure to get some South Carolina peaches when you go. They’re the best, in my opinion.
So good to see you again…I’m stitching heaven and nature….taking FOREVER but love it…..when we head to our cabin we pass Ham Lake and always think of ham rock…lol🐖
Super enjoy seeing you. Thank you for your wonderful time. I wish I could be your neighbor so I could help you. Take care. So glad you got to be with your family.
Hi Theresa, The Quaker Street framed looks amazing! The WIP I wish I had a magic wand that I would love to finished already…is Nest Sweet Nest by Just Another Button Company. You inspired me to stitch that one; which is awesome…the only problem is that I stitch in hand and the old Weeks so floppy, it is hard to navigate.✨🤣
I need to finish A Thread of Connection from Amy Mitten Designs. It was started 4 years ago, and this year I’ve made a concerted effort to finish. I’ve got the bottom grass that never ends to do along with the figures. I’ve enjoyed this sampler immensely, but it’s time to get it done. There’s been so many gifts and sals I’ve had to put my focus on, but it’ll get done this year! 🤞
We have a frame store in Whitefish Bay. A suburb of Mklwaukee called The Great Frame Up. They do a fantastic job and the people working there are friendly and knowledgeable.
I wish I could wave a wand and have all the bird designs from blackbird designs finished. I'm only on the second one and never feel like it calls me to work on them. I see a trip in my future to Little Red Hen. It really does look like a great place to visit.
Great to see you. It’s always fun to hear what you’re into. I don’t drink but I would love oneof those strawberry drinks. I just received an order from you and I do appreciate your quick service and I had several items all over the board and you had all of them in stock. 👏 yea😊. Thanks for the adorable tiny sticker. Congratulations to your son,🎉🥳I know you are proud. Sorry about your Dad. I lost my dad to dementia and then my mother who lived with it for 17 years. It heartbreaking, prayers for you to have comfort in all the good memories.
such a lively upbeat FT - thanks Theresa! My magic finish would be Winter Rose Manor, Brenda Gervais :/ dont know why its taking so long because I love it and that Conch house!!! its slower than Quaker Christmas II which is a big girl !!
Well, I only have one wip! It's the bubbles sal from the Lin Pulsion blog. But I actually enjoy stitching on it, I just have the border left to do, and I don't need to look at the chart anymore at this point. Your quilt top is supremely gorgeous. I love your fabric choices.
I love the story of how you came to have Zero. What a blessing for him and your family. ❤️❤️ I wish I could blink and What Remains would be done. I love stitching it but a “frog” must have smuggle himself over the border because I feel like I’ve spent more time pulling my threads out than stitching them in. 🤣🤣
If I could wave a magic wand and make my fourth Shepherd’s Bush Christmas stocking be done including sewn together I would be so happy. Love the stocking patterns but the heavy rough burlap like material is getting to me. Your kitties are so adorable.
Magic wand over the 'The Amazing Animal Kingdom' by Heaven and Earth Designs. I haven't even finished page one! Your quilt topper is beautiful. I will definitely be purchasing Blackbird Designs fabric from you! We will miss you at Needlework Galleria. So sorry to hear about your father. My husband is going through the same thing with his father right now and it can be a very difficult time. I wish you and your family the best.
It’s always a treat to see you! If I had a manic wand to finish something in a blink of an eye, it would be And They Sinned…I want it hanging already 🧞♂️. Take care…until next time…
I’m so happy to catch up with you! I saw a fellow cross stitch company talk about cutting loads of fabric with one of these cutting machines. I haven’t tried it yet, but I added it to one of my Amazon wishlists. “Reliable 1500FR Octagonal Knife Cloth Cutting Machine, 4-Inch High Power Light Weight Fabric Cutter, 1" Cutting Capacity.” I’m not sure about cutting tons of linen with it, but I thought maybe all your moda yardage. Again, just a thought to save your hands. Thanks for another update! -Amanda Mae
Love seeing all the Blackbirds and your tribute to Barb. She will be a enormous loss to our community. If I could blink and have one piece done it would be HATS Anne Thomas. I love this sampler so much I can't wait to have it hanging in my home. Take it easy on yourself and will see you next time. ps: I also love Australian licorice especially black. My mom would put a red twizzlers everyday in my lunch bag. Probably why I love licorice.
Hi Theresa! I really wish I'm finished with Huckleberry Farm by The Blue Flower! Its been fun and I pretty much have only been stitching on this one but anxious to move on! Then, on to the next WIP .... LOL! Take care & see you next time!
I feel your pain about not having time for yourself to do what you love. I mean, that's the point of what you do for a living ..... because you love it. I closed my hand-dyed wool business cause I just couldn't keep up with everything let alone stitch for the pure joy of it. (Met you at the PSS retreat in Memphis, you bought my husband's wooden tote). ALWAYS put yourself first!
Thank you for all your hard work anf joy in sharing ❤
It as so great seeing you today! You always make my day better. I’d love to see everything you’ve stitched because of your great style!!

Always love to listen to you. Thank you for sharing. Wish the best for your family with your father.
So lovely to hear from you. Great your business is doing so well. Your Blackbird tribute was beautiful. Enjoy what you do

Hi Theresa! I love to spend time with you! You are such a positive force! See you next time! 😻
Beautiful tribute! Your outlook on many things span funny to extremely touching! God bless
Thank you! I love your sense of humor and optimistic outlook! Take care of yourself!
Glad to see you back, Theresa! I can't think of any of my stitchy projects that I just wish was done. Luckily I adore everything in my WIP pile, even if I need a little break from them once in a while. LOL Thank you for sharing your tribute to Barb and sharing your stories and thoughts.
Love that you are you!!!! Fun to see you!
What a beautiful tribute to Barb Adams! Yes she will be sorely missed in the cross stitching and quilting world. Thank you Teresa for doing your videos

Absolutely love your quilt!!! I just ordered the magazine...scrap quilts are my favorite...the more fabrics the better.

I always love seeing you and the kitties anytime you can. Loved tour tribute to Alma, so touching. Sending you a virtual hug to you and your family with your Father. ♥️ My magic wand project is a wedding sampler for my son that’s in hibernation. Enjoy your summer.
Sorry I typed Alma instead of Barb
Your videos are the BEST. Thx so much! I wish I had a magic wand to finish Kringles Christmas! 🌷🌺💕
Theresa! I just love you! Simple as that! ❤️
It was so good to see you today!! Glad you’re doing well. Looking forward to seeing you at the fall Midwest retreat! Love the family photos at the end ❤️

I wish I could have Ann Grimshaw magically finished!!
Thank you for taking the time to make a video. I wish my Like a Cherry Blossom by Stitching Through the Years.
Loved your tribute to Barb. I wish that Kringles would be magically finished. It is so nice but so big.
Zero's story. 😭 Thank you for sharing. 💗💗
You look fantastic! Must be the retreat and massages! In the Midwest, Colorado peaches are the favorite.
Super enjoy seeing you. Thank you for your wonderful time. I wish I could be your neighbor so I could help you. Take care. So glad you got to be with your family.
My magic wand wip finish is my Chatelaine Egypt garden. I love your channel and products.
Any of my five Mirabilia that are started! Nice to see you!
Good to see you again! My magic wand finish would be Peacock Unicorn and a Badger....it's taking a minute!
I used to work for The Great Frame Up (it was my first job, and I worked there for a few years!)
I would love if Consider the Lilies were magically finished!!!!!
I have a large forest by Renato Parolin….it goes forever…now on to buying stuff from you…happy stitching Cheers!
Really enjoyed the video! Very nice tribute to Barb Adams, she will be sorely missed!
I’m so excited for the new Blackbird fabric! I with my Flag Flock was finished as I’m not enjoying stitching on the linen as it’s really soft.
The lone cat paw!!! 37:43
He's a mess!
