  • We are pleased to share this interview with David Bilger, Principal Trumpet of The Philadelphia Orchestra. Mr. Bilger is on the faculty at the Curtis Institute of Music and Northwestern University. At the time of this interview, he was also on the faculty at Temple University. He was a finals judge in our 2018 Ictus International Trumpet Competition, www.trumpetcompetition.com.

    David is so eloquent and fluent as an interviewee.
    Shame the interviewer is terrible!

      The interviewer us very good ... He's stays out of the way allowing a listener to not focusing on him. His questions are deep.
