At 1:34, what korone really said was "雑コラ", which roughly translates to "sloppy photo editing", with 雑 meaning sloppy and コラ coming from the word コラージュ(collage). In this case the koronesukis are simply cropped out like from an image and put into the game so Korone refered them to being 雑コラ.

It's definitely a lot easier to point out 1 or 2 errors than it is to cut video and translate the other hundred lines. I post a lot of comments pointing translation errors to both English and Japanese clippers, but I always worry about discouraging the uploader. Thanks for continuing to post clips, JShay.
The japanese version of the game has english text, and the DLC is compatible with it (with translated assets), so you can opt for that. Though there are hoops to go through.
The fact that the developers didn't modify the Koronesuki at all and put it in exactly as Korone drew it tells you that they definitely understand the fans and the source material 😂 Man I really wish us overseas koronesuki could play around with this DLC

They wouldn't be Koronesukis if they looked normal. They'd lose their comedic value.

To anyone who actually has the DLC, in cutscenes, especially ones where the Kocos take center stage in the plot, are the Koronesuki’s reverted back to the Kocos?
I don’t have the Korone dlc (obviously) but the soap shoes dlc mentions that they won’t appear in certain scenes, so I assume it’d be the same for the koco’s
This is kinda dark with Frontiers lore: The Koronesukis had their homeworld destroyed by Evil God Korone, they used the Chaos Emeralds to escape, and they ended up on Korone the Hedgehog's planet because the Master Emerald attracted the Chaos Emeralds. Evil God Korone then followed them to finish the job and they all died in the subsequent war by sealing Evil God Korone in a giant mech and then sealing that mech into Cyberspace, leaving behind only the Black Box Koronesukis that only have their heads, unable to move on from the war. And Korone the Hedgehog calls them gross and creepy.
Yeah the dlc still shows that even tho Sonic Team does mind a lot, Sega still doesn't give 2 shits about the West. If they did they wouldn't keep a group of 60 people working on thight date lines
I kinda wished they would at least give them _some_ "direction." Like they are all facing left and just doing some idle animation. Would be 1000's times better if they could look left and right and could move around like 2d sprites moving on a 3d surface that you see in many games like paper mario or something.
This game looks like a mess of random store bought assets without a overarching art direction and devoid of a sense for aesthetics. The fugly floating rails over a drab gray skybox make my eyes hurt. No wonder that they've just dumped Korone's reference material into the game without giving it any kind of extra care and attention.
@@Xaito Yeah I can definitely understand that. Imo in my limited experience it takes a lot of skill to not fall into that trap with current 3d games. I think a lot of it is good lighting, filters and a strong art design.
It's obviously unfinished no matter how they sell it. But, they've managed to make the gameplay at least enjoyable and avoided the buggyness that's become a trademark of infamous Sonic titles

Turns out the game is mostly enjoyable lol. If you are expecting a 10/10 you are dreaming but most people are saying it was a enjoyable experience.
At least it's fun to play and no need to pay more for gacha.
