Absolut GEIL.

I was fortunate enough to see them several times back in the day. I went to UMaine Orono it was all about Blues Traveler back then, 91. Colby College, 3 HORDE Fests, The Strand in Providence how lucky I was and didn't even realize it.
I just got a serious blast from the way back machine. Thanks John, Chan and Brendan. Rest in Peace Bobby.

"it doesn't matter what I say." He's saying that as long as it sounds emotional, and the music itself is catchy, you'll keep listening to it.
    And it's true.

I am so impressed with this song..now for 25 years without skipping a day! Emotions of love, some tears like driving a convertible, the feeling you can concur the world with a smile..it's got it all and yes..it will be underestimated and yes..that's why it hits all ignorant people like a freighttrain of love..

This is truly one of the greatest songs ever; a song that actually says my lyrics say whatever the heck I want but you'll still listen because I'm a badass basically. Never thought I could be impressed by a harmonica until I heard Popper.

How can a song get better than this? Does this rock, or what? Great lyrics, great vocals, amazing harmonica, like nothing else. Truly a one of a kind.

It doesn't matter what you say, as long as you say it with inflection! I will forever admire you John Popper from Princeton High School in New Jersey. You John Popper and the guy Chan Kinchla who I attended High School with for a couple years are great inspirations!

mrdemoball, you may not see my response to your year old posting yet i still feel inclined to agree with you a 100% id imagine there are only a handfull of the musically inclined who knows what vocal inflection is. I tend to hear it more so in country music vs blues, yet if one were to research its various meanings one would certainly agree that john is one of the most talented, not to even mention his harmonica playing;a genius. like a rintintin
