  • TheraCal LC is a light-cured resin modified calcium silicate ideal for direct and indirect pulp capping and as a protective liner. Ease of placement is facilitated by a 20 second light-cure and ability to be syringed directly onto the preparation and pulp without pre-mixing or the need for any additional activators. The proprietary hydrophilic resin formulation creates a stable and durable liner. Following placement of TheraCal LC the final restorative may be placed immediately, a significant clinical advantage. This video demonstrates its use as a liner/base in a Class II resin-based composite restoration.

Some times when I apply the adhesive after therical specially in high acetone 7th generation bonds therical just dissolves and melt away with the bond, why?
I usually do another therical placement is that a correct procedure?

you can cover it with GIC to prevent this and then do selective etching without touching the GIC (just need to be roughed ) and then place the bonding adhesive over the enamel , dentin , and the GIC so it will increase the adhesion between the composite and the GIC .. with my best regards
