Now this sounds like the greatest crossover of all time. And "Indiana Jones and the Lazarus Pit" makes for a great title. As long as they finally recast the lead. If "Dial of Destiny" taught us anything, Harrison Ford just doesn't have it in him anymore.

I figured this movie would be made around the time of Crystal Skull when Harrison was still in prime.
I think it's a waste that they never explored the long term results of Indy drinking from the Holy Grail.
This is such a neat idea. You could technically cross this over with Batman as well: Indiana Jones and the Bat of Gotham.

You guys should do more than just 'versus' crossovers. You should also do team ups. Team ups like Batman and Spider-Man, Star Wars and Doctor Who, and so on.

Walter, you wrote a better Indiana Jones movie than the last one we got. Thank you! I never would have thought of a crossover like this. For another one, I was thinking of Jones teaming up with Captain America to fight The Red Skull, who's on his own quest for occult artifacts.

These fanfic crossover ideas are something I wouldn't mind seeing more of. I feel like there's a lot of potential for different stories. Not to mention you made a better Indiana Jones legacy sequel that tackles the issue of getting older in a more engaging way than Crystal Skull or Dial of Destiny. This is a crossover that I did not realize I wanted to see you until this happened.
I had an interesting idea of a crossover between Spider-Man & Tarzan, for some reason. Where Doc Ock is planning some evil scheme in Tarzan‘s world and brings along some of the animal themed villains like Rhino, Scorpion, and Vulture to keep in theme of Tarzan with his gorillas.
Spider-Man he’s trying to find Mary Jane, and when he meets Tarzan, they have a confusion because Tarzan thinks he’s trying to find Jane and not MJ because they have the same name.
Spider-Man could give Tarzan one of his web shooters to try out and enjoy swinging around with his webs. As well as Spider-Man enjoying swinging around with the vines to avoid using his web fluid.
I don’t know specifically what the scheme would be but that’ll be interesting.
This would be badass!

It'd be interesting to see how this story "continues" with Ra's not being around when Bruce starts his training, Maybe even learning from a very old Jones honestly
This episode was absolutely spectacular, one of your best episodes yet and a great way to close out 2023. Really eager to see what this series has coming up next as I always look forward to more from you guys on this stuff.
As for possible crossover ideas:
1. Wonder Woman and Xena Warrior Princess
2. 1993 Disney Three Musketeers and Antonio Banderas Zorro
3. Keaton Batman and John Weasley Ship Flash
Ras' Al Ghoul did always strike me as more of an Indiana Jones type of villain than one for Batman so this would be a reasonable match up. I like the how this takes inspiration from BTAS too because it makes a good fit.
He also struck me as a Bond villain living in the DC universe.
Please do Beetlejuice vs. The Mask (preferably the Dark Horse Comics version). I would also like to see regular episodes for what if a Beetlejuice sequel happened in the 90s, and what if The Mask 2 happened with Jim Carrey.
OK, three things…
1. I do believe y’all have opened up a whole new avenue as far as this ‘FanScription’ series goes (👏).
2. As far as a future episode in the same vein as _this_ goes, a _’Spider-Man vs JOKER (🃏)’_ episode is so far the only one I’m ‘pitching’ here; NO Batman involved, just a straight up Spidey vs Joker story (😉).
3. When can we expect a _’What if Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man 6” Happened?’_ episode (considering the bombshell cliffhanger at the end of the last episode in that saga)?
I honestly would have liked to see Indiana Jones partner up with Sherlock Holmes. To me that's just a much better idea - the world's bravest adventurer teaming up with the world's greatest detective.
Holmes would be in his late 80s/early 90s.

Seconding this. Moriarty works as well as an Indiana Jones villain as a Holmes villain, and the two heroes would complement each other greatly, whether we stick with their original ages (Holmes being decades older than Jones) or revamp Holmes to be closer to Jones’s age.
I can just imagine Indy and House hilariously butting heads constantly everytime their on screen together 🤣🤣
For another fanscription crossover could you do Doctor Who meets Back to the Future? Have David Tennant or Matt Smith’s Doctor cross paths with an older Doc Brown and Marty McFly and the three of them have to save Hill Valley from a Dalek invasion.
Also for a fanscription could you possibly do “What if X-Men First Class was a more accurate prequel?” Have it take place in the mid or late 80s with a younger Professor X and Magneto enrolling a teenage Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Quicksilver, and a few others into their school and they become the first X-Men.
Really great sounding crossover, certainly one of the best I've heard. I think I'd change how Indy started to look for the Lazarus pit. When Indy and co arrive in Cairo, they are met by Ra's, who shows them to Henry III and Duvall, both on death's door and hooked up to hospital equipment. Ra's tells Indy to find the final Lazarus pit so he can restore Duvall's vitality. The payment for this service would be the life of Henry, who Ra's would also allow to use the pit. Ra's would not mention his true plan until the last moment.
I like that. How would you tie in Talia?
@@WalterCulture Not sure. My first instinct would be to save her for a sequel or spin-off, as my version does render her rather redundant. If I had to include her, then maybe she is reluctantly accompanying her father out of a sense of loyalty, but maybe is jealous that her brother is Ra's preferred child and heir? She could be the one to reveal Ra's' plan. Maybe Ra's sends her to supervise/assist Indy while he searches for the pit.
As far as I’m concerned, this is canon!

Indiana Jones vs Ra's al Ghul from DC? Genuinely did NOT expect those 2 franchises to be in a crossover together, awesome!
I thought up of this idea a while ago: What If Syndrome Successfully Kidnapped Jack Jack? Make the young baby into his evil sidekick. Basically a different and darker Incredibles 2.
Id love to see more of these crossover fanscriptions. I feel like Beetlejuice vs. The Mask is a good fit for a future episode.

What about Beatle Juice and Ghostbusters. You could have funny parallel scenes where the humans in the house are talking with Peter about how to get rid of the ghosts while the ghosts talk to Beetle Juice about how to get rid of the humans. Showing off their similar personalities.

@@mattphillips3537 It could be a battle between the Exorcisers and the Bio-Exorcisers. You could have Beatlejuice and Gozer team up only for Beatljuice to betray her and become a god. Then he could actually become Juicifer, which was an idea for Beatlejuice 2. It could be a really cool movie.
I know this was just a writing challenge but with how much deconstruction of classic heroes has been pushed this felt legitimately good and well we're probably not going to get any good Indiana Jones movies so this was just nice
This is a pretty interesting crossover considering a lot of a Ra's Al Ghul stories feel like pulp adventures anyways with exotic locations, sexy damsels, and low-tech action.
I would love to see more of these versus-type fan scripts.

Ok, now that was awesome seeing a Fanscription crossover for the first time. It was also interesting that you guys changed Indy’s son from Mutt Williams to Henry Jones III. Even though they’re both the same character but had been recasted from Shia Labeouf to Anthony Inguber. BTW, I hope you guys can make another Fanscription crossover of Justice League and The Seven from The Boys. I think this one would be a great crossover. Plus, I hope you guys are still working on your What If Sam Raimi directed Spider-Man 6, because I absolutely want to see how this all ends. Oh and I hope you guys can make a What If Chris Columbus directed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I know he was supposed to direct all three movies, but didn’t want to direct this movie. He just produced the movie, but you guys can change that. The movie can pretty much stay the same and have the same casting except for a couple of things.
1. Harry should not practice Lumos at the beginning of the movie. The movie should be open with a Warner Bros logo in the sky full with lightning and cold rain and then we get the main title “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” the logos would kinda turn icy indicating that the dementors are coming.
2. I would have less muggle clothes and more wizard robes for this movie. Because we need to see the kids more in Wizard robes.
3. The Shreiking Shack scene should have flashbacks on The Marauders and their backstory. There should also be a scene where we see the night Sirius Black chased after Peter Pettigrew and then his time in Azkaban. This would take place after Sirius said” The Map never lies”. This is where Harry would ask how Sirius would know know about it and this is where Remus reveals everything to the trio about The Marauders and their backstory. Then after that is where Sirius would get mad and when he reveals Peter Pettigrew.
4. Have the movie be more colorful in general. It can still be a little dark like the OG movie, but the color grading needs to be more fixed.
This is great! I had goosebumps multiple times from the climax to the final scene.

Oh, I have some idea for series crossover for future Fanscription episodes, and yes I know I made a similar comment already, but I have some more ideas. So please allow me:
- What If Tim Burtons Batman and Sam Raimis Spiderman existed in the same universe?
- What If Benoit Blanc solved the Mystery of the American Pysho Murders?
- What If Tony Stark traveled to Avalon (the one from Marvel comics, not the one from Arthurian legend) and teamed up with Anna and Elsa from Frozen (however, this would not be canon to Fanscriptions Frozen Trilogy)?
- What If a Big Four Crossover happened (Tangled, Brave, Rise of the Gaurdians, and How to Train Your Dragon)?
- What If Willy Wonka was a James Bond villain?
- What If Walter White was a Christian Bale Batman villain?
- What If Han Solo met Indiana Jones?
- What If...Alien vs Predator vs Avatar?!
- What if the terminator fought Robocop?
- What If Sherlock Holmes went on a quest to find...the Last Wish?
I was just thinking the other day that the movie “League of Extraordinary Gentlemen” could not only have been done better, but could actually be the inspiration for a similar concept involving Indiana Jones and a lot of other action oriented characters. Maybe some version of Batman, but I’m not sure who else. I’d like to see both of these ideas explored for future videos.
This absolutely amazing! The concept is really interesting and the story was really engaging. It felt like the original Indian jones films. And Ras Al Ghual is a really great villain for the story in terms of history
You guys need to do an Indiana Jones/Star Wars crossover. There's so much you can do with it. When Indy finds the ark in the first movie, we can see a symbol of C-PO and R2-D2 on the wall next to him.
There's a comic called "Into the Great Unknown" in which Han Solo and Chewbacca crash landed on Earth. While there, Han was shot by arrows from natives and over a century later, Indy and Short Round find the Millennium Falcon in which Indy says the place looks familiar. He finds Han's corpse in the pilot seat and with Chewbacca being spotted in the trees starts the legend of Bigfoot.
Disney's Hollywood Studios briefly did a Star Wars themed Indiana Jones stunt show called "Raiders of the Lost Jedi Temple of Doom". In that, Boba Fett hunts down Indy thinking he's Han Solo. Indy also finds the Golden Lightsaber. This show is able to be watched on UA-cam and George Lucas said he enjoyed seeing this in person. So you could probably do something with this story.
This would be badass!

Superman and Indiana Jones? I mean...Dr. Who feels the most fitting from my limited understanding of various sci fi franchises. Then again, Wonder Woman deserves a solid crossover potential as well

I feel like it would be really cool to see Peter take on a much bigger threat than the ones he faced in his first three movies. Plus, with Pennywise's ability to tap into Peter's greatest fears, it would be kinda cool to see Pennywise turn into some of his past foes.

Great pic on the actor playing Young Harrison Ford from Age of Adeline for Indy’s son! Always thought he was such a perfect lookalike for him, it’s uncanny how similar he looked in comparison to Ford, loved this crossover concept! Awesome work guys!

You guys should do an Indiana Jones crossover with The Mummy. Imagine Indy fighting Imhotep. He can take Rick O'Connell's place while Marion takes Evelyn's.
Post-credit scene:
Many years later, a much older Indy has regained his honor in the eyes of the US thanks to a different adventure. His adventuring days are behind him, and he's spending his golden years teaching. We see him start up a class, only for one student to burst in unexpectedly.
"Get lost on the way, Mister Wayne?"
"Martial arts lesson ran a bit long."
Indy chuckles as the dark-haired youth takes his seat.
"All the things arguing for your time. You should start to think about what it is you're going to do with you life."
Bruce Wayne just gives a slightly dark smile.
"I actually have a pretty good idea..."

One big souce of inspiration for the Indiana Jones movies were the James Bond movies. One of the Bond movies, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", ended up inspiring the comic book "Daughter of the Demon", which was Ra's al Ghul's first appearance. So the two characters share a lot of DNA.
Here's an idea for a cool fanscription: What if Jack survived in Titanic. It's a question many have asked, but I would like to hear your take on it. Where does his relationship with Rose go from here? How do they support themselves financially? How many , if any, children do they have? What about Cal? Would Leonardo DiCaprio finally break his habit of not making sequels to his movies? All that and more, if you guys make this video. Same UA-cam time, same UA-cam channel

Interesting idea. Perhaps for the next one, have a crossover between Batman and Sherlock Holmes (yeah, they take place in different time periods, but it'd be interesting to see their wits go head-to-head).
There's an Episode of 'Batman The Brave And The Bold' (S1 EP15 "Trials of the Demon!") that does a Batman Sherlock crossover. Personally I found it didn't scratch the Batman matches wits with Sherlock itch. Sherlock's inclusion felt very token to the point where he could have easily written out of the episode altogether.
As for the two characters existing in different times. In that episode they use magic to bring batman to Victorian times, but you could always set it in the same universe as Batman: Gotham by Gaslight or use the same premise as that universe.
Although in a similar vein to your idea; I'd like to I'd like to see a Batman vs Arsène Lupin story.
There was actually a story where Batman met an elderly Sherlock Holmes who stayed fit and lived a long time after mastering some meditation techniques in Tibet.

Guys this was amazing! I would love to see what other potential crossover ideas you have cooking. If you’re taking requests, could you develop a fanscription for Batman vs Predator? With the conflicting studios, we’ll probably never see it in theaters, but I’d love to see how you’d adapt it. Would it be a direct translation of the original comic? What changes would you suggest? Like adding in a cameo from a more recognizable villain or maybe one of the robins. And which Batman would best go up against the nearly invincible monster?
Not exactly a versus scenario, but killer croc and the Frankenstein's monster becoming buddies and trying to survive in Gotham would be cool to see

funny i always said that those episodes from the batman animated series felt more like indiana jones adventures than batman cruzades. Yes i can buy him fighting aliens and meeting cosmic beeings with the justice league, but going in a trip finding ancient artefacts with paranomarl powers going against organizations feels a lot more like tomb rading than crime fighting

Ra's works great as a for all sorts of adventure heroes. He could be pit against Zorro, Sherlock Holmes, Tarzan, James Bond, and not seem out of place. Hell, he could even tangle with the likes of RoboCop or Judge Dredd.
Plus, one can always go with the "Ra's Al Ghul is a title passed down rather than a literal immortal" concept if you need something less fantastical.
