Hello friends,
This is going to be one of many DIY videos I have coming soon, I hope you're excited and enjoy them cause I sure do! This is a great DIY to customize your table setting with personalized dinnerware to impress your guests and your mother! ;)
Design any dinnerware with markers and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees and you have new unique dishes that NOBODY else has!

After you are done painting, leave plates dry for up to 2 hours (minimum of 1 hour). Plates generally require baking in the oven for 30 minutes in the oven at 160 degrees celsius. Put the plates in while preheating (so add on another 5 minutes) and don't take them out until they have cooled down otherwise they can break from sudden temperature change. You can seal them afterwards with a clear water-based sealant and put back in the oven. Generally you would use a couple of coats of the sealant and let them dry in between coats. If you decide not to seal them, dont use them in dish washer, only hand wash and if you use sealant (and do it properly) you can use in dish washer. *Make sure acrylics and sealants are "food safe" or "non-toxic".
Are these paint will stay as it is after washing?

As far as I'm aware the baking process seals it in but to be safe maybe use it as a decorate plate with a plane or glass one on top

What kind of markers are used?
Doesn't the paint come off when you wash it? 🤔
Julia W- It will last a while but this is more for holidays or special events where you want to customize some dollar store plates for fun. Baby showers, holidays, birthday parties. Etc. Definitely not a long term dining set :)

They have stayed pretty well for me so far but I haven't put them in the dishwasher either
