Melody of Memory is going to have the biggest dissonance between story and gameplay in the KH series. One moment you're popping notes with Aladdin, then afterwards you'll get scenes detailing Kairi's childhood trauma as she searches for Sora in her dreams
Facts I really don't know how to feel about melody of memories like a rhythm game by itself is ok I guess but one that's story important and this being Kairi first outing as a focused character is head scratching
I’m guessing the Kairi’s childhood can be like a prologue to the story like a type of flashback then Kairi will remember and wake up and telling them about her dark childhood I’m assuming that then after that Kairi will go with Riku to the final world I’m assuming
It can be like chain of memories like you do a world then after that you get back you get a cutscenes
