He has so much utility and power. Honestly, he's arguably the best unit released last year for this meta with some competition from the NY dokkanfest and easily the best LR released last year.

The crazy part was how he dominated Fusion Zamasu. He tanked first turn, even a first turn first attack super, then always got hit enough to transform second turn and heal. And for the rest of the battle, he was immortal. He was factually the best unit in the game against FZ.

As a bills fan I have never heard a more accurate statement. Ss4 can have problems but he heals you supports you is invincible for 2-3 turns of the fight and i soils afterwards. He’s not even bad in base after he super and this bosses don’t hit hard enough to turn 1 for his base to matter

This is why I consider LR SSJ4 Goku different from the fraud blues. LR just needs 5 hits and for the rest of the fight, you *choose* when to pop the big guns and not only that you *HEAL* Goku is fraudulent turn 1 yes, and he's not tanking big supers but UUB easily can with his passive and how it's constructed. Meaning by the final phase you can just plop LR FP SSJ4 Goku and while he won't be GOD like he was before he'll tank that turn and by the time he comes around again you'll probably finish the fight (if you're running a jacked team that is). LR ssj4 isn't the same to trunks and the frauds, he isn't crazy but when were in supreme blues defense is nothing and trunks is crap until those 5 attacks.
Its alot better of a meta for 4ku then the blue boys for sure.

SSJ4 = Super Trunks and AGL Vegito is Insane, considering both of them die to normals and have HORRIBLE conditions, however SSJ4 is just get hit 4 times (although it sounds bad, is not as bad as super 5 times on an character who gets everything on needing 3 allies, or below 70% of their turn 5), and he can tank normals so you need to get an little bit lucky.
Then be strong as hell at the end in both forms.
This is one of the most disrespected units in the game's history. And 95% of that disrespect is from Truth alone for some unknown reason. Truth just has a hate boner for this unit.

Hello datruth can you make a video about dokkan abandoning game modes. heres some improvements i think dokkan could use in these modes
•burst mode should be permanent and only replaced with a new one. Adding weekly missions to would make it far more engaging while being permanent. I would love to see more sliders to customize the experience as well like for example enemie supers every attack, dodge chance silders, etc.
•pattern battle should be a permanent mode it would lighten the frustrations of not getting all the cards for that season and rewards while were cool when it released our almost useless now
•chain battle is gone now but rather then trying to make it better like reducing the point required to get all rewards and/or reducing the characters needed to even start the mode to lesson the rng aspect they just deleted it.
•ultimate clash while a decent mode mostly cause of the rewards hasn’t actually been changed gameplay wise like adding categories effective for this fight it would help actual new players as the type leaders are very rare.
•world tournament… just delete the the first fight with the 3 enemy’s and reduce the points required to get all rewards wouldn’t fix the awful mode but its a start
•lastly extreme type units need help and hear me out on this. Lets talk about getting rid of banner units they are in my opinion a relic of dokkan past and start adding a second dokkanfest to these regular monthly banners, doing 1 extreme and 1 super class literally any character can be a df. Ftp units should replace banner units and fill that hole of helping the banner df units out. Just make ftp units the new banner units in terms of strength
Just wanted to point out an issue that dokkan has created for themselves and them talking about making game more fun. i want this these modes and game to continue to evolve

In worst case scenarios you can always transform him and he will help you (just on his initial transformation) but by that time gogeta is dead.

I understand that goku is a slight risk turn one but bosses aren’t killing you turn one anymore. He has basically up to 3 invincible turns, gives insane defense support, and does pretty good damage. If he gets a a good super Saiyan 4 unit that supports or has scouter he can definitely be a great unit once again

Edit: after watching, he did perform better than expected. Still running him slot one is a gamble but in this video he managed to tank double digits from blue gogeta and survive type disadvantage super which most units truth for the "Tour of powercreep" do not perform that well

While for this guy, I blame dokkan for releasing him at the worst time possible, as a unit that needs the fight to stretch a bit for him to show his true power, but very shortly after his release the entire Meta of dokkan changed to the worst possible version for this goku which was short but very challenging fights from the start.
By the time the meta changed again, it was already too late, powercreep had gotten him and most of the 8th Anniversary units.
Not to mention when he was released into the game there were already decent slot 1 units in the game, so it gave players even incentive to pull for him.

I'm impressed with his performance to be honest, he clearly isn't the powerhouse he was supposed to be anymore because of powercreep (dismal future red zone was a complete meta shift whereas 9th anni brought back the regular formula with higher damage output), but that uub tanking gogeta blue's super was precious. You can't run him on slot 1 to make him tank supers but he ain't a complete zero, his role should be that of a filler for free to play players who have him with dupes and can't run anything better. If you're willing to hide him, use his standby at the right occasion and pop a whis (if possible), you should be okay.
Comparing him to TEQ Trunks and Blue Duo mad disrespectful. No mad conditions just five hits.
