07:06 Aaaah, I love this restaurant. It is in Suthep Road. So yummy and cheap. You need to try the mushroom fake meat. I was there often. I miss that all.
04:50 Have you ever tried this climb starting at that temple? If you go in this little road you come to a long climb, no cars and almost always shadow.
Nice! I did this XL loop in '14 or '15. Great memories. We hit roadworks - dirt/ mud on the descent to the dam - that was really sketchy! I wish I'd known about the temple.... next time!! Thanks!
Great to hear, Bob! The road is in much better condition nowadays I guess. But still a proper adventure and long day on the saddle! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻👍🏻😊
Thanks that was great! I never knew you could get to Samoeng town from Mon Cham. I only ever did the loop (on motorcycle) from Mae Rim or Hang Dong. ( and of course went down to Samoeng Town) About those 7 hairpins on the Hang Dong end I was amazed even on the motor bike how steep. Hope to try on bicycle this year 😉 Thanks again for a great video!
Thanks Mike! Yes, there are a few Samoeng loop variations like this one from Mon Cham. Soon we'll film the XXL version, 140 km, 3,500m!! The 7 hairpins climb is epic, make sure you got a 34T cassette and you will be fine!
สุดยอดดดด 🤩🤩

Yes, it's amazing! Taking the soi left from that temple right? Steep narrow road up to a village and then down to di Bosco coffee, awesome detour!!
@@CyclingChiangMai Right!
