Damn this makes a lot of sense. When the traveler fights Ei he recollects the memories of pain that teppei and many others had to go through becoz of the vhd and he uses all those memories and fights Ei. The traveler connects to the laylines and thus Ei's plane becomes bright in the cutscene.
yeah its true, at the ending of the game, the traveller will find out he/she is always get control by a player, and suddenly he jump out from our gadget and kill us and then back to his/her world
Wait so if the characters we can use are just memory... that would mean that any character has a chance of dying in the future. Then it would make sense if you could be able to play a dead character in the future (if it happens). Maybe we might have a chance at getting Signora as a playable character?
i think ingame lore explained that those teleport are ancient and normal people dont know a shit about them however only cool adventures knows how to use them. Not 100% accurate but you get the point

I have another interpretation. Traveler can travel between worlds, so they just Rick & Morty it and go to another dimension that is the same, except Traveler didn't have a hangout there. Same with character switching. They are from different dimensions where they joined Traveler instead of doing whatever they do. Multiplayer is basically Council of Ricks.
2:59 my theory is that it restores their power similar to how the traveler upgrades the statue; in zhongli’s voice lines, when you ascend him he mentions how his power is coming back to him
Does this mean traveler can control elements because of the memories? İdk I just thought about it . Since the only time we unlock elements when we see the statue of that element and interact with it .
Yeah that's a bit weird, my first thought was that traveler carries memories of items which they can manifest when they want to, but yeah, prolly just not canon :(
I think that other characters would comment on traveller going around transforming into other people if that was canon, other wise it would be normal, if it was normal then we would see other people transforming into other people too
