Premier Ford announces construction underway along entire Ontario Line - October 2, 2024

Ontario Premier Doug Ford holds a news conference in East York to announce that work is officially underway along all parts of the Ontario Line subway in Toronto. The 15.6-kilometre transit line is set to run from the Ontario Science Centre to Exhibition Place, with a planned completion in 2031.
The premier is joined by Prabmeet Sarkaria, the Ontario transportation minister, Peter Fragiskatos, parliamentary secretary to the federal infrastructure minister, and Olivia Chow, the mayor of Toronto.
