When I was applying to vet school I want so badly to fully understand what I was signing my self up for. I wanted to see what daily life as a veterinarian was like after all of this hard work. So when I make content like this, I feel like I’m making it for all of you, but also a younger me.

Keep in mind that this is a very small sliver of the veterinary profession. No day is ever the same and there is an extreme amount of stress on veterinary staff as well as a high suicide rate. It is by no means as glamorous as this minute long video makes it seem. Be nice to your vet staff.
Couldn’t agree more! I try to keep these videos short and sweet, but some days (weeks) are really hard, if you head over to my “quit my dream job” video I touch on it there!
This video makes me want to be a veterinarian even more! Just waking up and your job being to take care of animals, sounds amazing to me.
My daughter is graduating High School in May and wanted to be a Veterinarian. But she has since changed her mind because she doesn't want to have to put animals down. 😭 She is a full time wheelchair user and says she can still do anything. 💜

U can do it bro !! I m a vet . I spent my childhood in India. In India people just become a vet for money. Then came to los Angeles to fullfill my dream everyone here i met supported me so much . So i will support you too 🙃❣️

I’ve always wondered how much of a pain it is to have a dog when you live in a tall apartment building. I let my dog out a dozen times a day to go potty. That would be a lot of up and down in that apartment building.
Some people have fake grass somewhere in their apartment so they don’t have to repeatedly go up and down the stairs

I chose the wrong profession. Granted. In Podunk Missouri, you need to be well versed in Livestock as well. Don’t know if I could have done that. 😂😂😂
I will also study vet in coming years and I want to own a pom as a pet (in the place of my dog charla who left me few years ago..I really miss uhh my baby ❤️) ..but I think I can't leave him home alone plz help how to understand the circumstances and be emotionally strong🙂

I have a question. I have thought about becoming a veterinarian. Is it worth it? I would never do it for the money it’s because I genuinely LOVE animals
Only you can answer that question. It's 100,000 min debt, about 8 years of school, a lot of death, a lot of owners that don't listen, a lot of verbal abuse from owners, and you get that all with a mid 5 figure salary. For some, all of that is worth it. For others, they can't deal with the mental strain.
If u study in the US or Australia, you have to do an undergraduate degree first in chemistry, biology ect. If u study in the UK, Ireland, Scotland, NZ ect you can just do the vet course. If you have any extra skills such as music or performing you can use that to pay off your student loan. Being a vet pays well especially if you specialise. I really want to be a vet and I think it will be worth it.
If I dont get to be a vet I will sob. Said I wanted to be a vet at kindergarten graduation, im in 10th grade now and have ✨not once✨ changed my mind lol.
