I was wondering if you have Russian heritage looking at the scarf cloth on your table, which reminds me of Russian scarfs. Love your choices, many of which I have, and your relationship to Magician archetype. It always amazes me how much images can transcend our lives.
Funny story, so forgive me for being long winded: This scarf was given to me by someone I’m no longer friends with. She brought it with her from Russia. I’m not Russian, but she originally approached me because she thought I WAS (Many people, when I first moved to Boston, thought I was Russian). I got rid of everything she’d given me, but I couldn’t part with this. Even though she hurt me deeply, I felt such a deep connection to the scarf, and I honestly don’t even think about her when I use it. It has its own energy, untainted. So, my sister recently took one of those My Heritage tests, and apparently there IS some Russian in our bloodline which we were unaware of, but that’s pretty cool, because I’ve always felt a deep connection which I can’t explain. ❤

For all the patriarchy opression on women, often, the most painful thing is a betrayal of a friendship by another woman! You do have Russian energy and I felt it too, no wonder you love Russian lit and if haven’t yet, “Heart of the Dog” by Bulgakov is superb.

love your selection. i agree regarding the voyager tarot, it's glorious and i don't feel the need to add any more collage decks to my collection, i'm good with this and the tantric dakini which also both have the coolness factor of being pioneer collage decks to boot. i bought the big guidebook for the voyager last year and i really like it! oh btw james wanless is coming out with an oracle deck this year, i can't wait! it cracks me up that the hermetic tarot makes you think of mozart, but it kind of does have something magic-flutey-about it now that you mentioned it LOL i love your analogies! and haindl is pronounced HINE-DL. hugs!

You have excellent taste in decks. I have the Cat People, St. Petersburg, and the Voyager too. Those are three of my absolute favorites. The Voyager is definitely a proven classic. I need to check out the Haindl deck. That one really looks interesting.
I would love to see a side by side of the ancient Italian and the classic tarot. I have ancient Italian and I agree that it’s the best MM reproduction. They put their best foot forward on that one for sure. Those pips are stunners. I may get a second copy some day cuz ur right, they are an investment when they go out of print 😂 I’ve been considering the Classic tarot as well tho.

You know what, I don’t at this time; People keep suggesting that I should, but I haven’t set up any sort of system for it. They wouldn’t be expensive, I’d probably charge 10 for them, but I would have to figure out the dimensions so that you could be assured your deck would fit! As of right now, I still just wing it LOL and I sometimes find myself unraveling a bag half way through if I find it’s not wide enough. The bag for my Albano is my favorite, thank you 😊 They do make the decks so cozy ❤ I will consider the idea of selling some bags!
