Just watching the first part of your video, but glad you picked some different stuff. FYI Barbara Walker “full size” has the same image size, just bigger borders and more languages. I sold my vintage copy & got the tin because it has less text clutter.
I love what you've done with the Tantric Dakini. I've modified the hell outta mine as well and I'm thinking I'll add the elemental symbols as well (not that it'll help me as I always get them mixed up but we can try).
I enjoyed seeing your picks and hearing more about the your adoration behind each choice! Your Narnia comment made me giggle 😂 We are just getting out from under a unexpected Narnia-esque snowstorm where I live so I can relate! Thank you for another lovely and fun video ❤
I LOVE seeing decks that I haven’t seen before when watching this tag! 3 of the decks you mentioned didn’t even make the Top 10 Spreadsheet at all!! (But one of them made it to a new one I’m working on🤫) The Tantric Dakini only had 2 mentions in my spreadsheet, which was shocking to me because so many people talk about it! And Margarete Peterson was 7th place. Thanks for the shout out!
Wonderful selection, thank you for sharing!! The Piatnik TdM, the Gran Tarot Esoterico, the Spanish and the Enchanted tarot are firm favorites. I need to sit down with my Dali Tarot and try reading with it... I'd love to get my hands on the Navigators, it looks amazing, and the Barbara Walker is now at the top of my wishlist !! 😍 Now off to watch @coyotetarot 's compilation video 🥰
Beautiful decks!! Woww~ I'm liking this tag. Thinking if I should do this VR.. haha 🥰🙏❤️ Thanks J, for sharing these lovely decks of yours with us~ ❤️ And, I always enjoy your refreshing vibes!! 🌟 Love & hugs!! Redsyleen from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Haven’t watched a flip through of the Barbara Walker Tarot until this video bc the tin picture never caught my attention- but it wasn’t at all what I expected. I went and bought a vintage copy of this deck when you first put this vid out- and a found Crow’s Magick from the same seller. (I couldn’t stop thinking about it since I saw you share it.) Love your videos! Thx!
Hi, Janaki. Really like Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea. Toadstool Tarot cut all the borders off his cards. It's quite beautiful. I've thought about doing that, but haven't taken the plunge. I guess it's the keywords that I don't care for. We'll see. Your Dragon's Tarot looks great. Thanks for sharing. By the way - have you seen the Moonlit Hermit Tarot? Very contemporary take on TdM. I like it. You can see that one on Project Refined Life. Bye! I forgot. It's cut paper and collage on black backgrounds!
I've cut off key words before (The Voyager) and now I kinda miss them so I'm hesitant to do it again, but I've always wondered what this one would look like without them. Moonlit Hermit is on my radar but I'm not sure if I'm ready to take the leap on that one yet..
Wow! The Moonlit Hermit deck might be my first TdM! I love the vivid art. Thanks so much for mentioning it here, which became my introduction to the magic it holds 🙏🏾🔦✨
Fantastic video, Janaki! LOVE that you picked El Gran Esoterico, I thought you would. That deck is dear to my heart, I got it at the same time I came across the Balbi Tarot, those two decks are great chatty friends! The Wheel of Fortune card is my favorite in the Esoterico deck, such a unique display that feels like a puzzle.
I firmly believe we have to separate the artist from the human...we're all flawed & we wouldn't be able to enjoy much of the music, film, art, etc out there if the artist had to also be a good human in order to do so. I'm thinking Spirit has to have an artist w/ a big ego otherwise the art itself would never be in the public eye/ear...thoughts...
Really enjoyed seeing the interesting decks you have chosen.
Gorgeous selection! So happy to see William Blake - this deck doesn't get enough love! 💙

I think you’d like Tarot of the Cat People, which is mass market. It has an 80s sci-fi + fantasy vibe that is so glorious.
🎉 Loved seeing your deck selection for this tag! 🫶🐾

I would LOVE to get my hands on the Balbi tarot ! It's been on my wishlist for ages, just waiting to find an affordable copy...

What was the Robin Hobb series you recommended?
Realm of the Elderlings ! It's a 16 book series that starts with Assassin's Apprentice. Soo good !
@@catomancytarot Thanks! I'm gonna check it out ☺️
