Moira just really love to write and produce sad songs, that will tear our hearts but she's happily married tho. The irony here is that she's happily married yet she's producing really tearjerker songs.
They were a real life couple before. However due to some reasons they broke up and they don't have the opportunity to have a proper closure however they still like accepted to be the actors in this MV.
According to the actor who played as the Priest, when they are going to shoot the last scene 'which is the girl apologizing the director asks almost all of the crew to go outside the venue leaving only the Director, the two actors and camera men, the director instructed the two to just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn't have any proper closure in real life when they broke up. There's no script to be memorized there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think the reason why this hits so hard is because we can feel the pain of these two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using this music video.
The video is confusing for those who does not know their back story and I hope you get to understand it by reading other comments but I just want to add that the part where Joshua was saying sorry for not being there and wanting to protect her I could interpret it as him wanting to protect Julia when people are bullying her when she was rumored to be with another actor who already have a gf and their relationship was ruined cause of her. He wanted to be there for her but their relationship is already on the rocks and he was scared to be their for her when he already accepted that they are not for each other but he still badly wanted to be there. Also their relationship is very open to the public that is why everyone here is affected by this video so much and I get that you needed more context to connect to the video more but I appreciate the reactions 😁
I’m a JoshLia and Moira fan!🇵🇭 They were a popular showbiz couple for 3 years and broke up. Josh and Julia have worked together with Moira (singer) and her husband Jason (songwriter and one of the guitarist on the video) on one of their movies before. So Moi and Jason wanted them to cast this particular MV cause the message of the song fit what they’ve gone through. Josh and Jul were both co writers of the script. It was told that the shooting was private, casts and people not needed to be in it were not allowed to come inside the chapel. Joshua didn’t change, they just broke up. They didn’t really confirm what the reason was but it happened around the time Julia was on a different project (movie) and it was rumored that there was something going on with her and her leading man. The couple went through a quite a lot of issues and were able to patch things up, except for the last one. More to that, they stayed friends. Josh kind of let go, both are single (at least that’s what they want people to know). As of Julia and the other guy, it is not confirmed yet but they’ve been seen couple of times together. One of the best MV and the message of the song is something I find hard not to feel. 👍🏼

Sometimes in a relationship, even without a third party, you will lose your love for each other. You know you love him but you also know you are no longer happy with him. You know you fought for your relationship but you can't really force your heart to keep loving him. No matter how much you force yourself if destiny says you are not for each other even if it hurts, you can do nothing.
they were couple in real life and broke up in 2018 / 2019 but never had a proper closure of their full of dreams relationship.. In this music video of them is about forgiveness, letting go, moving on and the closure of everything they had in the past. it's a heartbreaking one but thats life. Hello guys thanks for reacting.. Actually the story behind this video is that the couple (julia and josh) are real life exes who agreed to make this video a year after they broke up. They are famous celebrities here in Ph. It is said that Julia allegedly cheated with another known actor while still in a relationship with Josh.. They made the scripts themselves as this is their "closure" for what happened in the past.. That's why it's really a heartbreaking video..And Moira the singer is happily married btw her husband is the one with the guitar in the vid 😀

She gave her love 100% to Josh but she did not leave anything for her. In any young relationship, you must leave at least 20% of love for yourself and 80% for him. He/She = siya
His/Her(s) = niya
For Him / For Her = sa kanya
That’s why the close caption translations can be confusing because of the auto translation to he/him/his.
Joshua and Julia they are famous love team in local movie. After few years they separated. And this is true love story.
Facts:
-the "couple" had a relationship before and their conversation in this video (which they co-authored) is their "closure"
-the song itself was inspired by a true story but not necessarily of the singer
-the song somewhat reflect what happened in the "couple's" relationship but still the video is fictional - they were just asked to perform for the music video

4:47 actually the word "niya" is gender neutral pronoun but they use he /him in the English translation because there no direct English translation of the Filipino worl "niya". So in the English translation of the song it is the Singer pov that's why it he /him but the music video is really on the pov of Joshua .
