I keep coming back to this video. By the way, I am also Roma.
in that case....give me back my money!!!!!
Me too I have a guitar that I bought in a thrift-antique mall that was made in Romania.
I love the gypsy people...your cultural legacy is immense.
Roma are a beautiful, unique and diverse people.
I dated a Romani in the past and she was one of the most driven, dedicated partners that I've ever had.
We're still friends to this day and I wish it would've worked.

I'd like to be sitting there by the fire listening to this Live! I could listen to this Lady play all night!
Main reason I want to relearn the violin. So I can play Jewish music and Romani/Gypsy music! I love this so much!! They both put their soul and heart into the music and you can feel it!
Our musical styles are just so beautiful, my harp teacher also taught violin and viole with an emphasis on this style and I gladly sat in for the lessons before and after mine
Same here. Have you found any books or online tutorials that has helped him. I’m struggling to find any.
The Queen of the Damned is what introduced me to this type of playing, and I love it to this day!
Me too.
Simply beautiful.
True connection. One of the best i have heard. No trimmings, just beautiful and pure.
This video is basically my life goal.
Listening to this new years eve by a fire of oak and fatlighter. Beautiful and happy 2025
Really beautiful.
Love this video Wish she would return there again and play again.
I wanna learn how to play gypsy music too, very beautiful music, violin, culture and video
Its 29 here in Virginia USA and i will be replaying this video all winter. I do this off and on in the winter season..I love it. Wish they would find her and have her there again for more wonderful playing. Built a stove fire and enjoying this tune..
This is why I am learning the violin! I could watch such videos all day, please post some more.
Que sorpresa tan agradable encontrar a Kate maravillosa tocando!!!! bravo!! un gran abrazo desde Mazunte Oaxaca Mèxico

I watch it in the winter from time to time. The cold outside and wind and the fire on the outside stove is awesome.

Such a cool connection! Must have been passed down soooooooo many generations.
@@Updog89 or they learn it from internet
Thank you for this beautiful video please tell me where I can get the violin music sheet for this song
Is this a violin or viola, it seems to be a bit bigger and deeper tone?
Beautiful music. I do have a hard time watching as it's not live and the music doesn't match the action but the music is great.
It could be it was overdubbed for sound quality but keep in mind you'll see numerous videos where the sound is out of sink with the visual .
jast wow
Is there any chance I can ask some sort of tab or note-by-note? I’d be buried under this song if I could. I’d like to learn a guitar cover, with your approval.
hello from edna kansas america
If you saw an ad before this video, who will collect the revenue? The violinist? The guy holding the camera? Or will Googlebet keep it all?
(THAT'S SHOW BIZ!)
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Did anyone notice at 0:35 she stops and the music doesn't stop?
With your permission, would it be possible to get the full recording so I can transcribe the whole thing?
(assuming that I even can lol)
The bowing and the sound do not correspond. But I love the music never the less.
Dunja lavrova is better and actually from Russia
Sometimes the sync gets mixed up in a video. She was really playing the violin. So one on here can actually find her name. Im sure the people who filmed this knew her name.
First name is Kate but no last name.
Que musica mas rara
❤
😍😍😍
Glad you like it!
@@leaulifeproductions6074 Could tell me who she is and something about her?
🙏💖🔥
wunderschön gupse , gerne treffen. mein herz dran hängt. vermisse euch.
Was this at an art show?
anyone know what ths song is called?
jo jo it's an improvised piece by our friend above so we just call it beautiful gypsy violin. Thanks for watching and taking an interest in our videos!
Kind of sounds like Der Badken Freylakh sometimes.
@@leaulifeproductions6074 , who is your friend? Does she have other videos out??
Is there sheet music for this beautiful piece?
You could write it, with a little bit of earwork, it's not that hard :)
edit : that's if you have some notions of musical notations and such, though..!
edit² : Use Musescore or an equivalent to hear the notes you're writing down, it'll be much easier ;)
Thank you for the advice! I'm not very good at transcribing just yet.
Antonia Noël I would love the sheet music to this too!
@1LAUGHoutLOUDly If I figure out how to transcribe it, I will send it to you!
Just as a frame of reference search "szaszcsavas band" in youtube, They are a Hungarian Gypsy band from Transylvania and their lead violinist (primás) is also nicknamed God (hungarian version of the romanian word DUMNYEZO)...After you listen to a few videos, be reminded that the man you saw playing the violin like a wizard is illiterate. He learned to play the violin from his father and so on going back to the early 1600's. Gypsy music is arguably the hardest thing you can do with a violin. In my region there are Romanian Hungarian and Gypsy folk songs that are played, i will try to search for some literary work that collected some of them and if they have the sheet music to it I will provide a link here for you.
Until then I'll link a video of him playing a Romanian "Invartita" with no hair :))) /watch?v=sJI4QPM2GWU
Hello, what is the name of this piece please ?
Thank you
Hello Delphine, this is an improvised piece ,so it doesn't have a name as such, we just call it beautiful gypsy violin , thanks for watching our films.
Its a macedonian chalgia piece called CUPURLIKA its a chalgija from the city of Skopje i think
@@leaulifeproductions6074 Whow was the lady playing it?
Oy white one....over here!
The music and picture is out of sync
I have watched movies etc on videos and they are out of sync I do believe she is playing the fiddle live.
@@jondoes8222 The music is out of sync with the video.
I wish i was there! Not mutch Gipsy violin in Sweden. The violin should laugh and crie.
Thanks for your comment Dorothy !
Romani fiddle is beautiful.
When editing though you really should match bow strokes to music as at least at one point she lifts the bow off the strings and it keeps playing!.
Makes the whole thing seem fake, which is hardly of benefit to Romani culture eh?
:)
music and video do not comply
Skrzypce maja bardziej szlachetne brzmienie od gitary ;p
Very beautiful music but watching you bored me. No offense but you don’t seem all that into it. You just seem to be going through the motions.
i feel absolutely no passion listening to this very mediocore violin playing ,it stirs not what i expect
Agreed, but the potential is huge
The reason is because the person in the video isnt actually playing the violin. They're "bowsyncing"
Hi Andrew she actually played the piece twice outside round the fire and we edited the two films together, you’ll notice it actually transitions from day to night in the film. She was playing for about 15 minutes but we cut it for UA-cam. Thank you for coming back to the film and your support. Leaulife
@@tompitman8672 I was right Someone mentioned that the music played as she stopped but i know about sync... They did not realize that. Where was this at? Said her name was Kate but no last name. I have come back to this video many many times and love it especially in the winter here in Virginia USA
this is arabic not gypsy.
There may be similarities
Did she lern herself
❤
