Definitely one of his most meaningful roles! I like when he’s in more serious movies. His comedic timing is awesome but roles like this is when we really get to see him range. This and Ponyboi
Our choices create infinite lives that exist simultaneously. The drug they take shows them that time isn’t linear and we can choose to exist in any life we want. He can even live in a timeline where him and Cindy end up together but he chooses not to because he chooses to exist in one where he has a good relationship with his mother. Basically, the point is to appreciate what you have even though it’s normal to wonder what could have been. Ultimately, our perspective is what will dictate whether we are satisfied with the life we choose. He can follow Cindy “fall down the stairs” and know all he can know OR he can listen to his mom/ appreciate what he has and “not fall down the stairs”. In the end, he chooses a good relationship with his mom and forget Cindy.
@@D.ppelgangers I think it shows us the difference between non linear experience and a normal, linear life. The non linear can be chaotic for a consciousness that is not yet mature. Only a developed awareness can switch "timelines" in a meaningful way, but when you do it after only knowing linearity your whole "life", it can be disorienting, meaningless, etc. It could be interpeted as a lesson. The linear time I mean, a lesson for baby consciousness lol. To make sense from an infinite amount of moments. Does this make any sense? It's a twist on the "time is a prison" perspective. Both are valid tho
Fr. This was so much better than the original awful generic trailer. The trailer kinda hid what this movie was about which is admirable because most movie trailers nowadays spoil everything, but the original trailer just made it look too generic.
Thank you for replying so quick! I feel so silly now for not looking at the description to see if the song title was listed before commenting. I really appreciate your help 😊
My congratulations for this amazing work of editing. What a beautiful film this is ! Probably the best performance in Dylan O'Brien career

This movie would have not been so underrated if this had been the official trailer.
Real because this movie was insane and it’s not even rated

How could you not be a fan of his movies? He’s so good
