Obsessed. I seriously hope this is a movie that starts to gather a pretty sizeable following being examined for years to come. It broke all other movies for me. I made a subreddit just called FlashbackMovie if you would like to join! I need to get some posts up about my hang ups on certain parts of the plot. There's just so much to discuss.
This movie is just so fucking beautiful and haunting it's leaves you breathless at the end and Man Dylan O'Brian performance is just so perfect. It one of the best underrated movies of 2021 it was Brilliant.
We all can relate to this movie, we all had parts of our life where we wondered if we took a diferent path, or even parts of our life where we just regret not doing something (like the kiss between fred and cindy)... its fascinating watching all alternatives of Freds life unfold, makes us wonder about our own life. Brilliant movie!

Flashback was a very good movie underrated in my opinion, although Cindy was Fred’s school crush the different alternative timelines in the choices he could of made was clever but did Cindy even exist or did she become a drug addict? they all went back to the house to try to remember and all the people were still there when they was on Merc the homeless and drug addicts and Cindy was there looking rough there was a timeline where things could of worked with him and Cindy but he chose not to go that way either way it’s a decent film 👍
for ppl who think that this is about "what would have happened " movie like mister nobody, its not. its about this theory that does exist, that we can travel through parallel realities in any world, but we are sleeoing in this matrix, because we are poisoned by parasites, and in this movie they took pills that removed parasites, so the girl he travel through worlds and astral worlds decided to stay there and live like this with unlocked potential, while he decided to settle and stay in normal life and forget the version of existing at full potential. it has to do a lot with castaneda teachings and like wise things. this movie is indeeed very deep that smn decided to base a plot on this
Yes, many think the main message of the film is about finding his mother. But thats wrong. This movie contains obvious occult meanings. But I must say that they did a good job making people think its just a drama-romance-film.

i can't get this movie out of my mind. the Soundtrack its just magic, the uncertainty and melancholia this movie left are just awesome!!
