The "I'm not hungry" line is a bit of a two-fold metaphor calling back to the fact that he eats when he's upset, meaning he's not upset anymore and also calling back to when Shifu said that when he's been trained he can eat, saying that he isn't done training yet both in his own words.
The third one's good too just hoped for the emotional consistency of film two three was heartfelt and fun but two is just masterful and positively sad and I don't know what's next and that's the point
Kung Fu Panda is such a delight. I hope you do watch the sequels. Kung Fu Panda 2 is actually phenomenal, it finds such an interesting way to continue the story. Kung Fu Panda 3 on the other hand is indeed not as good as its predecessors. I personally found it entertaining enough though.
@@kakophonien6514 But they used it in the plot without any explanation. Like the finger thing Po did with the Bull dude (forgot his name) was so dumb, even dumber than the fact that Po even returned
Kako phonien Now your argument is making no sense at all. Since when do movies have to have characters in their title. What I'm trying to say it's that the theme of the franchise was never about spiritual magic or anything of the sorts. It's about Kung Fu and the third one seems to forget that
I love how this Fight was Po using a culmination of everything he’s done / learned throughout the movie. Most of, if not everything in this fight was something Po did before: -Smacking Tai Lung with the Tree, like how Po was smacked with a Tree when trying to launch himself to see the Furious five. -Po using the stairs he hates to his advantage, by tumbling down them like he did multiple times before, but turning it around on Tai Lung. -And or course, the obvious “Sit on Me” callback. -Po uses Tai Lung as a way to slingshot himself, like he did to try and see the Furious five. -Po using Noodles to Grab the Scroll out of the air. -Po using Fireworks to boost himself to the Scroll, like he did earlier, trying to see the Furious five. -Po hiding the Scroll under bowls and scrambling them, like Shifu did. -Po imagines the Scroll on the top of the building to be food, so his body would have a better insensitive to climb, like he did to get Monkey’s Cookies. -The whole acupuncture/ nerve thing that comes back in Po’s favor. -And lastly, Po using a special Hold. And not something he was taught by Shifu, but something he picked up on himself because he loves Studying Kung Fu. In other words, he didn’t win because he’s a master of Kung Fu, he won because he’s a big geek. The Final Battle may not be a spectacular “Kung Fu” fight, but its definitely a PO fight. Which actually goes with the themes of the movie. Like how the Scroll Is reflective, so the “secret to limitless power” isn’t a mystical spell, it’s just “You”. And even how Oogway said “There are no Accidents”, almost everything that happened to Po, some may say by accident, he used to his advantage in battle. Turns out, none of those things listed above were accidents. Very clever Final Battle.
An important thing to notice. Po is never, at any point of the fight, on Tai Lung's level. But at the same time, Tai Lung is never, at any point, focused on fighting Po. Tai Lung is only focused on getting the scroll. Po might not have much in the way of skill at this point, but in the way of STRATEGY, he is already far beyond the Five. He knew he couldn't beat Tai Lung in a straight fight. He also knew that Tai Lung was obsessed with the Dragon Scroll. And he also knew that, even if Tai Lung got the scroll... he didn't have the mindset to understand its lesson even in the slightest. He knew if Tai Lung saw that scroll, getting his claws on it was all he would be trying to do... to the point of ignoring his opponent. So the entire fight, from the moment he showed Tai Lung the scroll, was under Po's control. Not a moment of the fight was accidental... the whole plan was to keep Tai Lung chasing the scroll and not focusing on Po as Po whittled him down a little at a time. Because if Tai Lung focused on Po, Po would have been dead meat faster than the Five. Every butt bounce on the stairs, wok or roof tile to the face, smash through a building or whack with a tree, every bit of that built up on Tai Lung over the fight. And all this MINUTES after a serious knock-down drag-out fight with Shifu, an opponent on his own level who had ALREADY given him a serious beating, even if he won. Only when he felt Tai Lung was totally weakened and exhausted from this game of keep-away did Po let him get the Scroll (he went from being so badly beaten he couldn't move to standing there hale and healthy in the time it took Tai Lung to open the Scroll and realize it was blank, meaning he was faking being beaten!)... and the emotional devastation of realizing he didn't understand it. Between being emotionally distracted and totally exhausted, Tai Lung was barely able to muster Kung Fu at Po's level, if that, allowing Po, fairly fresh and mostly unhurt due to keeping Tai Lung focused on the scroll and not his opponent, to step up, and use his basic Kung Fu (and the Wuxi Finger Hold he'd figured out), to defeat Tai Lung. Po might not have been a master combatant at this point, but he was definitely a master strategist from the start.
React to the second one. It's deep af. It literally deals with heavy mature issues like post traumatic stress disorder and genocide. I know it sounds out of place in a movie about a talking panda doing kung fu but it's executed perfectly. Pure art. You'll get to see po at action after mastering kung fu by the end of the first one too.
Something that I love that they show us throughout the whole film is that Po can Take. A. Hit. That boy is so resilient! He can get beat up by the 5 AND the master ALL DAY and still keep going. Tai Lung basically broke himself against Po, tired himself out. What Po is, just him being himself, was the perfect opponent for him.
If Shifu hadn't sent a messenger to Tai Lung's prison, he never would've gotten free. Just proves how true Oogway's words were after all ("One often meets his destiny on the path he takes to avoid it.")
Jack Black's best role in my opinion where it's majority non-commedic although his character of Po is very funny and sweet the role is actually quite bittersweet and humble which is why I am very happy with Po as the Kung Fu Panda
Back when this movie came out, I read an interesting article about it. They interviewed Chinese animators who were upset by this movie. They were upset that an American company could take Chinese symbols and Chinese themes and create a cartoon that appealed to Chinese audiences better than they could.
It feels like a ridiculous premise, with Jack Black hamming it up you can see why people put it down immediately, but watching the film. it's brilliant! Believe it or not, Years After the first Kung Fu Panda became a major hit, Their’s one time that dreamworks found himself into trouble especially with a copyright lawsuit. In 2013, A man named Jayme Gordon saw this movie that dreamworks was making and similar to his Kung Fu Panda Power 2000 Book, he was really outrage. So much that he decided to sued dreamworks for 12 million dollars for damages for story, the characters, and More. but the good news is, Dreamworks won the lawsuit and Jayme Gordon unfortunately since he lost the lawsuit he was to jailed for two years. That’s a true story and I am not lying.
From my own personal opinion from watching the (Kung Fu Panda) series, (Tai Lung) is not dead. My reason; there are 3 plains of existence in this universe 1. The Living World 2.The Spirit Realm 3. Heaven (when your dead) Just to be clear, to clear up confusion; (Spirit Realm) and (Heaven) are not the same in this case. The (Wuxi finger hold) when done doesn't kill the opponent, it only transports them to the (Spirit Realm). This is confirmed in (Kung Fu Panda 3) We also know one can come back to the (Living World) from the (Spirit Realm) eg. Po Onto the next question. In trying to escape from the (Spirit Realm) Kai collected (Chi) from some of the most powerful Kung Fu Masters, which included (Tai Lung and Master Oogway) if this is the case why didn't he get (Master Thundering Rhino) or his father (Master Flying Rhino), this could only possibly mean something else. The (Spirit Realm) can only be entered in 2 ways: 1. Be Spiritually Enlighten - eg. Master Oogway 2. Be put there after someone used the (Wuxi Finger Hold) on them But if you are straight up killed, eg. (Master Thundering Rhino) you go straight to Heaven, there is no coming back.
In order to get the full experience, you need to watch all 3 movies. Even though the 3rd one is not as good, it completes po's character arc and is therefore necessary. It isn't a bad movie, just not as good as the others.

From my own personal opinion from watching the (Kung Fu Panda) series, (Tai Lung) is not dead.
My reason; there are 3 plains of existence in this universe
1. The Living World
2.The Spirit Realm
3. Heaven (when your dead)
Just to be clear, to clear up confusion; (Spirit Realm) and (Heaven) are not the same in this case.
The (Wuxi finger hold) when done doesn't kill the opponent, it only transports them to the (Spirit Realm). This is confirmed in (Kung Fu Panda 3) We also know one can come back to the (Living World) from the (Spirit Realm) eg. Po
Onto the next question.
The (Spirit Realm) can only be entered in 2 ways:
1. Be Spiritually Enlighten - eg. Master Oogway
2. Be put there after someone used the (Wuxi Finger Hold) on them
But if you are straight up killed, eg. (Master Thundering Rhino) you go straight to Heaven, there is no coming back.
