Ceo missed an easy 3 candy gift. At the start of the event, do not have any candy in your pockets. Villagers will tell you about Halloween and say " what you don't have any candy?" And then give you 3 candies. Drop off in storage talk to another Villager and repeat. I did it 3 times and got 9 candies

If you have multiple people on your island who don‘t play too much (all of my family except for me LOL) play as them, get candy as them, and drop it to get 2 or more candies
