If she's all that, then why doesn't she know that she's not light skinned and that she looks, Black? 😂 She must have been asked if she's mixed by some stupid White men who aren't accustomed to Blacks. She looks Black to me, and she is NOT light skinned. DJ Envy and Angela Yee are light skinned. Eboni K. Willaims seems to be a nutcase with her straightened hair like a White woman. Yeah, someone told me she said that, that's why I am on here. Okay. I found that strange. Why was that a point of discussion? She caught up or sumpin? I don't doubt that happens but wasn't the discussion on why she was on FOX or why she was LET GO FROM FOX, so what place did that have in the discussion? Or was it let me be the first one to tout my beauty and men always want to know why I am so beautiful? People understand what just happened and WHY it happened. People get caught up on their own hype. That's why she went to FOX because she knew she was acceptable. To me that should have been a reason for her to TURN THEM DOWN. This is going to sound mean and I dont' mean to be but I'm just a real kinda sister. Some of those folk that were asking her about her heritage were those white men at FOX believe it. She didn't speak on that one. She just spoke on the brothers. Legitimately so. See I didn't even hear the interview and I can just about know how she came out the gate. Oh well. Now that she has experienced what we as black folk experience every damn day, hopefully she will get her own or create her own. We need her. They don't need her. I hope she becomes the next Cathy Hughes. Our communities are suffering. We need strong voices such as you all seem to purport her to be and I hope she continues to evolve. But please don't justify your being on FOX to us with your black RA RA RA. Just be for your people and understand. Malcolm words live.

@@MrLemm11 i dont need to watch the video. Apparently you understood my point. I addressed it spot on. Nothing about what i said was assumed and i meant every word. Why did she feel the need to "explain" "us" to racists? Thats whst you should be asking yourself. @philip ocharo You have selective reading. I txt'd: '...they can use their platform to educate, uplift and *entertain* the community...'
You are obviously not of the black community. TBC has a strategy of using entertainment to draw viewers in, the viewers who may not initially go out their way to seek out information or know where to go to receive information that will open their minds, motivate them...it's a balancing act. If you do not like the TBC's mission, again, I txt'd there are enough platforms for that other type of energy.
Even if the the uplifting/educational interviews do not go viral as the entertainment ones...it is still penetrating the community. Obviously their mission and their formula has gotten them success. I mean...why are you even here? Just for the perpetual black ignorance interviews? Not for the black intellect interviews? Rogar Ailes was no genius. He is pure Nazi Al Right and he used people. PARTICULARLY WOMEN or haven't you heard? C'mon people really? I wouldn't be tooting his horn as some kind of communications wunderkind. Women were a sexual tool for him and he used them all at FOX. The only reason why Gretchen Carlson took him to task is because he tired of her and went for some one younger cause dat's what dey do. She didn't out him because he was a racist pig or his racist views, she outed him because she didn't get what she wanted and waited and then brought the hammer down. That' why I could not participate in the women's march and were those lit ink hats cause it ain't about what women of color want it NEVER IS. Angela Davis said years ago...Their fight is NOT OUR FIGHT and the white women prove it EVERY DAMN DAY. Y'all better recognize. You see what happened to Eboni. They got rid of her. Now my question would have bee to her. WHY DIDN'T YOU SEE THAT GOING IN? Did any of those white women newscasters come to her aid like they did when Gretchen Carlson brought the hammer down? Nada and they never would have and never will. Well I'm glad she's out and I hope she will go on to at least a better platform. We all make mistakes.

Nothing sexier than a black woman with style, grace, poise and book smarts.
BET needs to put more segments on black inventors, scientists, educators & intelligentsia on.
It's very very important. Black people must understand the power and innate abilities they were born with.

Girl, I always felt the question "what are you?" was the most undermining question I could receive. In the first minute you unpacked over 40 years of feelings. The best I could do was respond with sarcasm. My answer would be "im a girl, cant you tell?". It perplexed me in too many ways, I never wanted to address how it hurt me emotionally. Now, when I get that disappointing look, I will ask, " what is it about my Blackness that offends you?"
