Bob Graham Round - Leg 1 Recce 4K - April 2021

This was supposed to be an out and back but time away from the mountains during lockdown has taken its toll!
Plan B was initiated and we took the lower level trail paths back to Keswick.
I doubt we’ll ever be conditioned enough to run an actual Bob Graham Round so we’re settling for completing each leg and hopefully having fun in the process.

Brilliant video and wow what amazing weather. Bec and I are helping out on leg one in June so are planning a recce in May. We have done a big chunk of it a few years ago. I only really remember the bogs and wet feet by the hostel.

Thanks Simon. Not our favourite leg!! Can be a boggy mess between Skiddaw - Great Calva - Blencathra. Still a great route though. Will you be opting for Halls Fell Ridge for the descent off Blencathra. There’s a few options but love that descent!

Thanks Mike. The jacket is fantastic and far better than our Inov8 jackets. It’s a great fit, very breathable, really windproof and more importantly extremely waterproof. A really good purchase 👍

@@TrailRunningCouple Think it's on my shopping list, my Norrona jacket is a big let down, wets out very quickly.
