    Can you please explain the difference between DONO ..... GA? , DORE GA? and DONNA .... GA < questions words with particles> thank you so much

    • @NihonGoal
      @NihonGoal  6 років тому +3

      DONO + Noun ga.. means "Which noun...?" (Lesson 16 Grammar)
      E.g. dono kuruma ga suki desu ka? Which car do you like?
      DORE ga...means "Which one...?" E.g. Dore ga suki desu ka? Which one do you like?
      DONNA + Noun ga means "What kind of noun..?" E.g. Donna supotsu ga suki desu ka? What kind of sports do you like? Although in my example I put "What sports do you like?" but "donna" is more of "what kind"

    Can you please explain the difference between wa and ga particles? When to use Ga and when to use Wa? Can they be used interchangeable?

    • @NihonGoal
      @NihonGoal  6 років тому +2

      "wa" is a topic particle, basically when you want to introduce a topic and say information about it, you use wa. On the other hand, "ga" is an identifier particle. you identify the unknown.
      For example
      "watashi wa rozu desu" (I am Rose) "I" is the topic and the information is "Rose"
      But for example, someone ask "Who among you is Rose?" Then I can say "watashi ga rozu desu" (It is I who is Rose)
