2002 Pentax Optio 230 - Digital Camera

The Pentax Optio 230 is a compact, lightweight (for the time) entry level digital camera. Pentax being relatively new to the digital market at this time. With its 3x optical zoom (38-114mm equiv) and 2.0 Mp images, it was considered to produce reasonable quality images. As with many early digitals, it had a fold out screen, which disappeared for many years only to make a come back more recently. A nice starter camera
