That does look good in Gold and it is very portable, unlike the DDJ-RZX whih I do own and will part with it even though it is not as portable as this one same size as well. Yours has quite a few upgrades from the old one which is now 2 years old for me and needs a PC. The only things that is has over this unit is 3 screens (across the top) and all 4 can be used for any input (No USB). I know that you will enjoy it. Hey Senior, by double pressing the shift button you can also use the channel 3 and channel 4 without connecting other players. BTW loves your videos its so informative keep doing it❤
Thanks a lot for watching. :) Yes you can double tap the shift button to to use channel 3 and Channel 4. But that is only possible in controller mode. Not when you're using a USB. You have to connect to laptop and setup 4 decks to shift from deck 1 to deck 3. But unfortunately. This is not possible while using just the USBs. :(

Some one help me please as i am trying to use recordbox instead of Serato ! 1) In recordbox software on my laptop when i add a hotcue i can write a comment eg "outro" however when i export and use the USB to plug in to XDJ XZ i can't see the comment on the XDJ XZ screen but i see just the hotcue letter. is there a way i can see my comments anywhere while Djing with the USB? 2) In the recordbox software i am not managing to write for example in the comments column unlike what i do in serato djpro software. In serato i just double click and i can edit the info in the column i want. 3) Is there a way of sorting hotcues automatically after each other. For eg. if i have hotcue A B C D and i delete C , is there a way for the D automatically becoming C. Or another example if i press any of the hotcues (for example D) to mark my first hotcue is there a way that it automatically comes as the first one ( so it will become A) In Serato they are always lined after each other no matter what you do.
Pioneer dropped the ball with the XZ. What's the sense of a standalone controller with 4 channels but only 2 are actually standalone? Especially when Denon is pumping out hardware which is everything people wanted the XZ to be and then some. Their competitors are manufacturing premium high caliber gear while Pioneer is half assing it & seem more focused on putting out bedroom junk like the FLX6. Their days as the "Industry Standard" are closing in on them.
