another good video.....I always learn things from your videos. Your editing of these videos is also very good....no long duration shots of taking out each screw etc like some others I see. Thanks for the good work!
I really like your explanations, very clear and concise. However regarding the fuel line pressure testing many of the comments are asking about where to find this tester and you don’t answer. I’ve looked on amazon as well as eBay to no avail. Might you divulge to us as to where to find the fuel line pressure tester? Thanks. I want to get my 192 tc going again.
Thanks for the video.. I have an MTD snow thrower won't start. 5 years old not many hours just one season. Briggs and Stratton 4 cycle engine with overhead valves. I have spark, fuel is good. Carb is good. But feels way to easy to turn over when I pull the rope. Just wondering if I should check the valve clearances??
Good video Dony do you also pressure / vacuum test the crankcase to check the seals when you do a rebuild as i have never seen you do this in your videos
Hi I have a question about bypassing the lawn tractor seat on my 2014 Husqvarna. Will just unplugging be fine and will still start or do I have to put a jumper in the plug.?
where did you get that pressure tester? I have been looking for some small like that for just that purpose but all I can find if the Mighty mac style and I already have a vacuum pump.
Thanks Don I am going to look for a used blood pressure cuff. It should give me the same results just might have to change the gauge. They are very expensive for a Might mac!!
I have been looking around and the Might vac pumps sell for a bout $58 on e-bay. Can you get me a small one for less. I have also been looking to build one out of a blood pressure cuff. I haven't got far on that I would have to change the gauge.
Hi Dondoy73 I bought a pressure washer brand new about year and a half ago forgot the name but I think its troy probably used it 10 times give or take I use it every now and then problem is after it sit example month I can try to start it but I have to pull a lot example 30 times give or take but after that it will crank right up only happens after not using for a while it dosen't have a prime button. Could the carb be dirty
Crimsontide798 It might be that the pump is acting as a brake on the engine. Do you drain the water out of the pump before you set it aside for a month and disconnect the hose that leads to the wand? Spray in a little pump protector? If it's one that you have to oil, how's the level? Maybe just try holding the wand open -- let the water flow out -- while you pull? Sometimes that alone helps me start my pressure washer when it's sluggish after sitting a while. Good luck!
hi i have a poulan lawn tractor the engine is a b&s 17.5 hp i/c that will not idle the throttle is closed an still revs very high pluse it an it idles down but then immediately starts to rev up to very fast can you help i tired cleaning it but still same prob. any info will help a lot thank you from Kevin r.
That isn't the impulse hose/line. The real impulse line comes from a pipe in the crankcase behind the flywheel, then makes a sharp bend up above the coil through a hole in the body ,then connects to the plastic housing which is between the carb and inlet manifold. It's really hard to spot where the connector is, you need to loosen the handle to access it. I've come across two ms192t's with unconnected impulse line , probably cos the mechanic gave up looking! -result being stalling when the saw is turned...
I love how you use an old govorner linkage as a hook. Great idea and use of old parts laying around.

Great video Don! I like those tools you were using, nice! Have a good weekend.
Hey Dony, can you make a video on how to pressure test a carburetor ?
Would be very nice!
Can you use the same type tool to check the fuel line on a line trimmer? Great video Dony, thanks!
Tony M yes, same exact procedure
Could you also use a Mighty Vac tool to check the fuel pressure?
Gerald Thomas yes
Gerald Thomas yes
Thank you!

George W yes especially the exhaust
Very good diagnostic test. Thanks!!
What pressure tester do you use,I like the one you showed in the video.
Thanks
Tony

bgm yes I do, a video is in the works for that too

Nice tip. Could save a lot of time & frustration.
JOE Z hey joe!
Excellent vid. Where did you get that pressure tester?, never seen one like that.
Hey Don,,,,,that part number comes up as a piston stop,,,,Where did u get yours????,,,Thanks
I think the label on the bag was not the actual fitting he showed. The bag was probably reused by his supplier. I found the same issue.
Good test Don.
jakethesnakemo thanks
Don, what would be the symptoms of the leaky fuel line, aside from leaking fuel.
WOOODYII2 hard to start no starts at all erratic idle will rev out then die
Very informative, thanks!
Could I get the name and model on that pressure tester? Looks to be exactly the tool that my kit needs ... Nice work... very informative...
Matt Allen Rotary #32-11321
donyboy73 Thank you very much!
I like your pressure tester there. Who makes those?
where did you get that pressure tester? I have been looking for some small like that for just that purpose but all I can find if the Mighty mac style and I already have a vacuum pump.
from one of my distributors, but now they are quite expensive. I can get you one if you want
Thanks Don

great vid TU. thanks Doc. cheers
Great info Don!
Ooow ive never seen you do that before don, what an ideal tool :D
Hi Dony, have you taken apart a 191T? What a completely different design. Wow...
redlense4 mostly worked on 192t, I just bought a new 193T to use in some future videos
donyboy73 Cool. Looking forward to it!
I like using small hemostats for crimping fuel lines!

Crimsontide798 does it have a choke?
just a off and on button

Does anyone know of the line next to the fuel line (silver, to the left) is the impulse line?

The part number you gave is wrong..its for locking screw not for the line fitting
You checked the fuel line not presher the tank to check that
