Honey, she will love you soon! She just needs to learn to trust you. Jordan is so instinctive with horses! You are too, but he is really off the charts with his care of horses! It doesn’t matter if the horse is older and well trained, or new and fearful like baby Piper. He is watching them so keenly and when they act, he responds accordingly. It is a joy and privilege to watch the both of you in handling horses. And, orphaned feral foals! Some only a few hours old! It as so precious to see sweet Sage, and later Shadow, follow you Candice, three years ago when you had three feral foals. They were so sweet, and helpless and physically and emotionally needy. You went out let them groom you. You spent so much time with them, caring for them and becoming their mommy! Even today, Ranger comes running when he sees or hears his mommy! I was so impressed in you Candice, laying down with the foals, picking off ticks, talking to the foals, scratching their itches, and feeding them very formula. Loving on the Babies and letting them bond with you! I look forward to seeing sweet Piper being happy to see you and Jordan! I want o see her being happy to see you, running up to greet you! I’m ashamed to say that I have a bad back. Multiple surgeries. I would have been more concerned about my back and my pain. But you, Candice laid down outside in the yard with the feral foals for a nap! You gave them the love and emotional bonding time hat they needed to bond with you, and Jordan. I have so much love and respect for the two of you!

I just found your channel and y’all are doing amazing work❤ I always had horses around me when I was younger and had my heart horse❤ I am now 61 years old and I lost him when I was 17 because we couldn’t afford him anymore living in Southern California with the boarding rates and all that. still have his picture on my refrigerator door. thank you for all you do and God bless you❤
The blue twine is both a new toy---and an irritant as it's in the way of her beloved water pail. I think she might be annoyed at the decorations of her private space, lol
I've seen Mares correct their foal with a nip doing this "mare stare", so how does a human correct her in a humane way? At least she's clacking at you in communication.
