That cutscene where all Link’s friends come in seriously made me bawl. The feel like this game shows the growth from the last one - BotW, Link was all alone and now Link has people around him. The two games bookend each other beautifully
Fun fact: unfused, the master sword does about 30 damage. Underground to "gloom" enemies, as well as gloom hands, it does 45-50. The math isnt exact, since the game doesn't give us numbers. However, against phantom ganon, the master sword does a metric ton and cannot break. It's incredible. Anyways have fun and keep being awesome!
Pretty sure basic glowing has been confirmed to be 45 by looking at code. Also, getting the Master Sword down to its last hit before going into a fight where it's unbreakable is hilarious, since it retains the last hit double damage effect the whole fight. I did the unbreakable sword fight with the largest health bar recently with the full Radiant Set/Molduga Jaw/attack up food/last hit Master Sword combo just to see what would happen. It's really goofy (did phase one with 5x lynel bow gibdo bone arrows, also hilarious)
19:32 This reaction they have to Link essentially jumping through a solid object really just just emphasizes that to most of Hyrule, Link is basically this hundred and twenty-year old cryptid who shows up in the most absurd way possible, searches people's homes for valuables without their consent, breaks several laws, including the laws of physics, beats up some monsters, consumes anything that he can fit in his mouth and several things he can't, and then leaves in just as absurd a manner as he shows up. They tolerate him pulling stunts like this because he's invaluable for fighting monsters, but he is also the embodiment of a loose cannon.
My new head cannon is that Link talks in Quin’s voice and I can’t stop laughing. Just imagining that Quin’s narration is actually what Link is saying has brought new enjoyment to this playthrough. 😂
I literally avoided that quest for a whole week because I was terrified that it would end the game and I hadn’t done anywhere near as much as I wanted to. My relief when I did it and it wasn’t
for that same reason, i thought it'd be purah! also because mineru was kind of the scientist in the past timeline while purah is the scientist in the presence so it made sense in my head
@@akinohikari1000I have a tin foil hat theory that Purah was _meant_ to be Mineru's descendent, considering the odd connections the Sheikah & Zonai tribes have (among... more spoiler-y things), but that the plot point was scrapped for whatever reason. Maybe for the same reason that no references to the ancient Sheikah & their tech are made?
THIS! all things sage-related really get me all sensitive because imagine what he must feel knowing the last time he had teammates like that they ALL DIED
I didn't cause like link is so canonical strong he's God. Also I really felt like the sages were baby versions of the champions. (Cause like... they are)
When you actually get to fighting Gannon you should fuse The master sword to One of Zelda's horns. I feel like that would be the best form of payback.😢
*In today's episode of Tears of the Kingdom...* With the Master Sword in a four-ringed hand, Quin checks off Purah's regional phenomenon quest just in time to witness the gloomy heir to Hyrule's throne make a sudden reappearance. Afraid of accidentally beating the game, he hesitates before flying up to meet "Zelda," "her" voice guiding him through the catacomb's walls and into monster camps. "She" speaks little before guiding him to the Sanctum, where the Hyrule's demons rest, and Recalls it to its former glory. In the end, "she's" not truly her (she's dreaming in the sky), and Ganondorf lays out his final trap: his phantom saboteur. Unfortunately for Quin, ghosts are allergic to miasma. Unfortunately for Ganondorf, miasma is allergic to the power of friendship. The Demon King dispelled, Quin's theories regarding Sage Mineru are proven correct as he recognizes that his middle finger remains ringless. (How is he meant to flip off the powers of darkness without any bling?) He sets off, alone but not lonely, to the Ring Ruins to rectify such an error, *thus concluding our (mis)adventures for today.*
Quin, if you’re ever looking for something to make you cry, I highly recommend going around and reading the Zora history stones that surround lanayru. They will rip out your heart and stomp on it but in like a good way. 😊
Quinn you have no idea how you and your totk vids get me through the week. Thank you for making our days happier! Always looking forward to your next vids
I love watching you play this game through in the correct order. Once I got the first 4 sages I refused to go to hyrule castle meaning I grot the 4 sages, got most of the memories, found the 5th sage, got the master sword, finished the memories and then went to Hyrule Castle. Talking to Purah with all that done is really funny because she is like "Oh Link, you already have all that done!?" Like yeah, I don't know timeline order
Hey Quin, not sure if you noticed, but the Champion's Leathers ability is that it shoots the master sword beams no matter the health you're at. [For reference you can only use Master Sword beams at full health]
That scene with all of the sages coming together is definitely an extreme favorite moment for me in this game I also just think it's super funny how Link knows that that Zelda isn't real, but just decides to keep it to himself. When I played, I accidentally stumbled across the sixth sage early, so I already had all of that done when I did this too, so just watching everyone slowly come to the conclusion that there must be a sixth one and then Link going 'Oh, yeah, actually...' was super funny to me. Man just doesn't know how to tell people important information
Link's suprise at having people actually help him hurt so much. This Link has had to do SO MUCH by himself and its honestly so heartwarming that he now has people that will fight by his side! Also i cant wait for the fifth sage questline! I had found Mineru before the castle fight, so im curious to see how it differs!
Definitely recommend going through some more of the side adventures in this game. I love the ones at Hateno and Lurelin, but all of the side adventures are some of the best side quests in any non-Majora’s Mask Zelda game.
i feel his impending presence closing in after his exit from the TV, my body is paralyzed with fear from the waist down!!! great video big man, link lookin snazzy
11:22 - There's actually this theory I heard somewhere that gloom spawn/hands/whatever you wanna call em are a manifestation of Link's trauma from losing his arm, hence why you apparently can't get pictures of them (never tried to get a pic of them myself tho so I can't confirm nor deny this). Which does make sense, but also doesn't since other npcs can see them as well. Still really neat to think about tho!
I have a confession to make. I... I might... just... be... severely addicted to these videos. There. I said it. No, I don't want help breaking this addiction. Yes, I am quite enjoying it. Yes, I click on every QuinBoBin video the instant it pops into my feed. The only problem is what to do while waiting for the next episode to drop. More ToTK, perhaps?

Your videos always make my day better, especially the hard days. And that quest was one of my favorites! Definitely made me cry when they all showed up to save Link. Like they could sense through their sage powers that he needed them and didn’t hesitate to go. Risking their lives for him and Hyrule 😭
Omg the bit about bird seed I thought you were being serious lmao. I haven’t gotten that far and have been playing vids while working so had to stop and rewind lol
You are actually playing the game the way they wanted I found everything running around instead of talking to people. I put off the end of the game for so long
In my play-through I accidentally got Mineru before this and Purah was like, "What?! You already found the 5th sage Link? Why didn't you say so?!" LOL!
I loved the sages coming to save Link. Two things I noticed during the cutscene was that Tulin uses his beak to aim and fire the arrows which I think is adorable. The other one was later in it looked like Tulin was sitting or clinging to Yunobo.
Quin, find single poe statue in the depths. Buy their location from the lookout landing statue or go to where the big hylia statues in the surface are. In the depths they are poe statues. Find all of them, and you will awaken a memory😉
I stumbled upon the fifth sage on accident while I was exploring before I reached this part of the main story. The looks on everyone's faces when they told them I already found her was priceless.
At the beginning he just said he was sprinting. Not sprinting at us to find us, just sprinting in general. I like to think he’s just out in some random feild or forest or something just running because why not.
"Into the basement? I don't want to go down there, that's where the creatures reside." Genuinely made me laugh and cheered me up from the rough day I've been having. Thanks for that Quin :)
I love the way TotK completes BotW, because the Zonai ruins in Faron were the topic of many theories and what not during the original game’s run, and yet they go mostly unmentioned in the new game up until you beat all the dungeons and finally answer the question asked in the original game- “what the hell are these ruins for?” Also, I got so hopeful that you were finally gonna use fuse on the master sword and do some actual damage 😔 you were so close
QUINN,you pray or may not know this but if you remember the large goddess statue/the mother goddess statue where you receive the wild set in Botw-if you return there you can speak to the statue and get nostalgic weapons by making a few offerings and even better if you return to the great plateau and visit the temple of time and drop some eyes into the depths you can get the og champions tunic the same one from the first game
That cutscene where all Link’s friends come in seriously made me bawl. The feel like this game shows the growth from the last one - BotW, Link was all alone and now Link has people around him. The two games bookend each other beautifully

@saltogpepper9389 HE WONT FOR SONIA!!!!!!!
@saltogpepper9389 😡 he wont
@saltogpepper9389 cuz it reminds him of Sonia and she is a wholesome character

Pretty sure the master sword can run out of energy against phantom Ganon
@@StretchReality That's the crazy thing. you can go fight him when it says its almost out of energy and then kill him with it.
Nah, i just use ma 124 damage sword and everything finee
Quin wondering why his weapons do no damage when he has refused to fuse almost the entire play through is peak Quin
Watching him toss materials off cliffs is physically painful.

I can't wait for Quin to find the fifth sage and then laugh non-stop for twenty minutes straight.
There's gonna be a lot of slapping lol
I did. I was just fucking giggling through that entire segment it was too funny to me.
It’s gonna be epic. Just wait till its time to run lol
im sorry but the squiggle arms-- *dies of laughter*-- THE SQUIGGLE ARMS

My new head cannon is that Link talks in Quin’s voice and I can’t stop laughing. Just imagining that Quin’s narration is actually what Link is saying has brought new enjoyment to this playthrough. 😂
i thought the exact same thing because everything quin says are things link would absolutely say
great now i cant stop imagining that now
I replayed BotW recently and this was my headcanon the entire time too lmao
I think the same thing cause he uses a different voice for like Steward and Sidon and the other characters so the normal talk MUST be Link, right?
I do that too😃
I am so happy you went for this, it was heartbreaking seeing so many gamers avoid it thinking it was endgame when it’s so cool and eerie
I literally avoided that quest for a whole week because I was terrified that it would end the game and I hadn’t done anywhere near as much as I wanted to. My relief when I did it and it wasn’t
When I did the 5th sage quest I so desperately wanted it to be Paya, because Impa was a sage in Ocarina, so I thought it could be her.
for that same reason, i thought it'd be purah! also because mineru was kind of the scientist in the past timeline while purah is the scientist in the presence so it made sense in my head

You’re so right
No fuse a gloom blade to it give him a taste of his own medicine
Nah, just use a spoon fused with cane sugar to make the medicine go down.... Full Mary Poppins hardcore mode.
It also does tons of damage and heals you
That’s what I did! It felt like amping up her statement that Link would have her power with him in the fight. 😭
Once you hit the next blood moon don’t skip the cut scene
I will try to remember!
It’s feels empty without her
fr
Oh shoot, this made me realize I've been skipping them since I completed this part. Thanks for the heads up!
OH YEAH, I was wondering why was the blood moon not having any Zelda dialogue. Because you revealed it to be Ganondorf.
It always makes my day better seeing quin scream at things
