Used to listen to some of her stuff around the time she'd released 'We Hate Everyone'. But I hadn't listened to her in years. Then I watched that bar scene and I thought "this sounds good, I think I like it" followed by "hey, I know that voice..." - and I've been listening to it ever since. A lot. That it played during a really good, really fun scene didn't hurt either.
At first I was like, "Holy shit K-flay! Been listening to her for 10 years. Glad she's making it!".....and then... "oh shit, they're all his mom..." and then almost died laughing. Haha
Haha, yeah totally. Had the same thoughts on K-Flay when I saw that scene in the movie. Really happy for her that she carved her musical niche and is successful with it. Must also be like almost 10 years ago now when I first discovered her stuff... time flies, I guess. We Hate Everyone was the first song I heard from her. And indeed, everyone's his mom! 😄
