Oh! Milton, Milton.

But he's still alive? He petted that rat at the end of the movie
This song fits Suicide Squad so well. Fuckin love the song and the movie.

@Johnny Lampur ×2 jajajaja
I enjoyed John Cenas' performance, he was an absolute natural 'does nightclub dance"
I love the ethereal nature of the chorus!!
Polkadot man dancing to this was everything
Ya though!!!
His mom was dancing with him 🤣
Yeah that hair flip and arc shot ( where the camera moves around a person or object) was downright mezmerizing.
Yes.. yes it was.. best scene in the entire movie..

How is K. Flay not more popular?! She has vicious lyrics
I just sent that video to a new friend who can relate to her I'm sure and I was saying the same thing how cutting and in-your-face her lyrics are. Total honesty
I think the issue is she doesn't produce new music often enough, its the same thing with hopsin on his break. I hope they get inspired to do the grind again
we have to make it viral on ttiktok
no more thailand round 3 im in usa my dad in north thailand lol oh no mymair lol
@@jeremiahpierce6194 No, the issue is that she doesn't have many fans. Nicki minaj had 3-4 year break between The pinkprint and Queen albums and she still got the support from many fans. Now she's not giving a damn album 3rd year again but yet this album is most anticipated album of this year. K. Flay needs fans and good promo
This lady kicks ass. That voice grabs your attention right from the start. A treat for the ears for sure.
Just a hint of world-weary raspiness to it.. I was a fan from the first line I heard of K.Flay's on the radio a couple of years back. Never thought to suss the music videos til today :)

The scene in suicide squad made me smile. Them all together laughing n stuff. Last bit of peace for em. And i just remembered this song holy shite i listened to it like 4 years ago
When i tought peacemaker was a good guy ):
polka dot man was 😂
Peacemaker was technically a good guy but he thinks peace would be achieved by destroying the chip like Waller wants and perhaps it would. Flagg is disgusted by what happened to Starro, the people and his part in it so he wants to expose it as he believes it morally right. The true evil was the general, President, Waller and the family who ruled Corto Maltese. Thinker was bad but I'm not sure how much of it was his choice. Starro's death was just as sad as Polka-Dot Man and the others as he suffered for decades and was entitled to his vengeance.
@@BitOfUltraviolence peacemaker was a good guy in terms of american officials. They are bad people. He is still a villain morally. Ig he was livin up to his name tho
Used to listen to this while destroying everyone in the whole lobby in COD AW back in 2014 and 2015.
it’s a tradition that we must randomly return here. no matter what.
shout out to k.flay for answering DMs and telling me to quit drinking, get my shit together and be a good dad. I have to say dadding at 100% beats being drunk any day.

Being a Father is by far the best thing I’ve ever known, hands down! Love is a strange thing. The love of a parent or child knows no limits and may render you powerless, nothing you will not do for their safety, including giving up Your safety w out blinking an eye. Stronger than drinking that’s for sure. Good luck , children are worth it!
Every day, all day.
Right on brother you're absolutely correct! I personally struggle with alcohol and it sucks. I'm doing a lot better I didn't go off the rails until my divorce a couple years ago. But I'm putting my life back together
Fucking ay!
James Gunn should be the face of DC movies he could single handedly save the DC movie scene. I mean throwing this throwback in Suicide Squad was just a perfect fit, hopefully K. Flay gets the shine she deserves...
Unless WB kills his films like they did all the other's
@@Artorion That's probably what's going to happen but one can hope.
@@Artorion snyder was a 10/10 solid with his trilogy so far they hired james because they were trying to copythe mcu strategy of comedy comedy comedy at every next scene so what do they do.....hire a mcu director who can make a film without disney hence the gore and swearing and liberty to kill characters....the mcu is tash(except winter soldier).
@@kitadam1923 The MCU isn't trash I mean they cissyfied quite a few characters but that's what happens when Disney is involved but they have so many virtues also you're right about the other thing WB is trying to copy MCU, first of all those idiots need to realize DC and Marvel are two absolutely different elements cause suicide squad needs to be dark morbid deep tragic and insane, David Ayers tone and version was exactly that and he understood what it needed to be he understood the story and the characters he made the movie realistic but WB had a problem with that and completely destroyed it like they always do but hopefully one day we'll get the Ayer cut

I don't know why people like pop music when this exists
RudeRoyalty a. m. durain Because pop music is catchy and targeted towards the idiots. This kind of music requires you to think and understand, which sadly most people don't do.
Pop music is also for people that like to have fun and let go since this world we live in is so Blissful. NIN also requires some thought but some just want to here the sound. But K.Flay is very catchy.
I like both :)
this is pretty damn close to pop music....

Polka Dot and Ratcatcher 2 are the best combination with this! I simply love that scene!!!
I heard this in a nightclub in Corto Maltese
Yep. I remembered vibing to this song in a club. Saw this dude really danced his soul off, like as if he just escaped from some prison, and is enjoying his newfound freedom.
Party was cut short when regime troops stormed the place, and were checking our IDs. Lastly, they caught 3 Americans, though one of them, a black guy, has a suspiciously British accent. Whew, what a night.
yeah i saw some cowboy with a yellow shirt there too
Best scene in the movie

BROOO SAME 😭😭😭
If you ever want to know what it’s like to have combat PTSD, listen to the lyrics of this song.
Really? I interpreted more as the shame of getting fucked up every night and feeling so much guilt because of your friends
I need to make an observation on this song, because it's been eating at me: this is the perfect representation of millennial alcoholism. Alcoholism is a disease that is presented in media in many different ways, but I have never, EVER come across any song, poem, TV show, movie, or book that is as accurate and, frankly, painful as this one.
Every line in this song is relatable. "I get it, I get it, I'm living too hard and it's time that I stop it/but rising on up and tumbling down, well that's part of the process"--we know that excessive drinking is bad for us, and people in our lives keep telling us to stop, but the recovery-relapse cycle is so damn strong that we keep doing it.
"Don't ask me questions 'cause I'm tired of confessing/and I know that it's not much to say, but I swear that I'd like to change"--man, if I had a dime for every time I thought that. A big part of the problem of being an alcoholic is breaking promises. It's not that we want to--it's just that the urge for, and effect of, the drug is so strong that we literally can't help it. It's wired into the brain. It's not that we don't want to change--it's that it's so fucking hard to quit.
"I feel like everybody's eyes on me"--ho boy. The paranoia is so real.
"Screaming loud, stupid shit, scaring all of my old friends"--you eventually reach an age where everyone around you stops partying, either as much or at all. They settle down, finish college, start careers, have kids. You might be doing the same things--or maybe not--but eventually, your hangouts with your high school or college buddies change, forever. But you're still stuck in those same behavioral patterns. They can unwind with a drink or two and play board games, and so can you... but for you, two drinks turns into four, into eight, and before you know it you're totally smashed while they're stone sober. And, as above, you feel like everyone's watching you--paying attention to your actions, judging you, because they know your behavior is the same, even though they've moved on.
"The night's just long enough for me to build it up and let it fall apart"--I was the man of honor at my best friend's wedding. I got kicked out of a bar we went to for being too drunk. Sure, the alcohol was flowing, but when you're that far gone, you just don't behave the same as everyone else. You get rowdy, go on the offense, do stupid shit and scare your old friends.
The world is fundamentally different now than when many of the great works where alcoholism is a major theme was written. We have different technology, different pastimes, different methods of communication, different language. Alcoholism stays the same--but it manifests differently. I can't relate to Kerouac or Thompson, because their perspective on the disease is completely foreign to me.
Maybe one day, a millennial will write a powerful manifesto on alcoholism--maybe it's already been written. But for now, I don't know of any other work that captures the disease through my lens as accurately as this one.
Your observation is just😍😍
I'm so incredibly proud of you for sharing your story and views on this song. I just can't thank you enough for putting the feelings and thoughts and cycles into words. Its just beautiful. I truly hope that you find the help youre looking for in order to cope with the disease that befell you. Its not easy being addicted. Its not easy to feel all those emotions and still try to be normal (hold a job, socialize with family and friends, etc). My best wishes and my heart goes out to you.
👍
Thank you for sharing, I couldn't agree more.
Any drug addiction for that matter honestly

Can't sleep lyrics
Maybe I've been slipping back, heading south, carsick on a Tuesday
Missing cash, blacking out, heartless in a few ways
Shit for luck, elbows shredded, I held things steady like too late
Please calm the fuck down, I'll do whatever you say
I get it, I get it, I'm living too hard and it's time that I stop it
But rising on up and then tumbling down well it's part of the process
Bar tabs on a hot night in a cold basement
You say I'm crazy but I feel amazing
My mother told me that the world has got its plans
I wanna hold em til they burn right through my hands
Don't ask me questions cause I'm tired of confessing
And I know that it's not much to say but I swear that I'd like to change
I can't sleep, I hope I stay awake
Cause I've been running, running, running all day
Long nights, no peace, I feel like everybody's eyes on me
I can't sleep [x4]
[x2]
Maybe I've been freaking out, moving quick, burning the wick at both ends
Screaming loud, stupid shit, scaring all of my old friends
Fell down on Bedford, hope that it's not broken
Safe to say I might have had too much of some of these potions
I love you so much, I'm staying here all night
Don't want to get up, I don't want to stop, I don't want to close my eyes
I'd rather not give a fuck and end up with some scars
The night's just long enough for me to build it all and let it fall apart
My mother told me that the world has got its plans
I wanna hold em til they burn right through my hands
Don't ask me questions cause I'm tired of confessing
And I know that it's not much to say but I swear that I'd like to change
I can't sleep, I hope I stay awake
Cause I've been running, running, running all day
Long nights, no peace, I feel like everybody's eyes on me
