TBH, this is not a tutorial to make your skin white but it's a tutorial to make your skin back to the original color. If your skin is darker than the part where it gets covered by clothes, it means your skin is damaged by sun exposure. All you need is putting on sunscreen whenever you are indoor or outdoor and covering your head with hat/umbrella when you go outside. Also, as a person who believes in spiritual things, it's not good to keep your curtains close in the morning or day because it can attract negative spirits in your room if you do this for a long period of time. They can make you felt uncomfortable in your room. Keep your curtains close and always stay in the shade doesn't really help because you still can get sun exposure by reflecting light and UV rays can get through anything so the key here is using sunscreen.

I love this video! I thought it would be negative because whitening typically has a negative connotation but this video is all about taking care of your skin. (Though I'm sure the sun protection medicine is a scam.) *The Facts (Sorry For Grammar Mistakes* - Sun rays can be both very good and incredibly bad for your health. Using sunscreen does not whiten your skin, it protects your skin from the sun's UVB and UVA rays which are harmful for your skin and cause hyperpigmention and visual signs of aging such as wrinkles. UV rays cause your skin to work harder and produce more melanin to protect your skin more which darkens it. Everyone should use sun screen to protect themselves from skin cancer, discoloration, wrinkles, etc. UV rays pass through multiple things including your windows so if you are often near windows indoors (this includes cars. Rays from windows while in cars during the day are a huge culprit for visual hand aging and one side of your face visually aging faster or even getting cancer on that one side of your face), make sure to apply sunscreen. Otherwise, wearing sunscreen indoors is unnecessary but there's no need to pass out on the extra protection. Edit: If you did not use sunscreen in the past and are exposed to the sun frequently, it would not be strange to notice having skin multiple shades lighter after applying sunscreen routinely because your skin would be producing less melanin to protect yourself from the sun's rays. *You're essentially tanning when you dont wear sunscreen out in the sun.* Not protecting your skin from the sun, eating healthy, not drinking enough water, and having dry skin can cause you to have darker skin than your natural tone. I think people should know that there is a general difference between skin brightening, lightening, and whitening. Depending on the context, all three of these things can mean the same thing, however brightening typically refers to giving dull skin a glow (refer to the glass skin trend). Lightening typically refers to correcting hyperpigmention (caused by acne scars, sun rays, etcs). Whitening typically refers to "bleaching" or trying to dramatically lighten the skin past your skin's natural tone. Essentially trying to cause hypopigmentation, the opposite of hyperpigmention.
Wow, thank you so much! I couldn’t be more grateful for this detailed explanation. I knew all of the other facts, but, and I may sound stupid for saying this, I *somehow* did not know your skin starts producing more melanin in order to protect your skin barrier which is why you become darker. I never really researched/questioned the logic behind “tanning” . I think (?) I recall briefly hearing about this in school but I have horrible memory loss so I must’ve completely forgot about it.

Dont be fooled by the sunscreen pills though. That is a scam.
@@shelbypbj Agreed.
塗り直しって、メイクの上から塗り直すんですか?それともメイクもおとしてから塗り直しでしょうか。
in the west, we normalise tanning and wanting tan skin but look down upon those who whiten their skin, even though both practices are equally harmful.
Tanning doesn't harm the skin, whitening does, white people aren't a minority and no one had enslaved them, black people are, it's not the same thing
@@rimaaouadi9092 white people are like 12%, they are a minority 🤔

We're talking about the minority in power and, social media is only filled with white people promoting beauty, Eurocentric beauty is tha worldwide standard!
@@rimaaouadi9092 Ah, okay. you’re right. Ukrainian people are called the most beautiful in the world so I guess they are the standards. They are actually pretty pale, blonde with blue eyes..so it makes sense. I’m Polish so I can add the little bit of story - in the war times even white brown haired people and people with brown eyes were killed just for the way they looked. Till this day german owned companies show in their ads pale blondes with blue eyes.
@@rimaaouadi9092 yes it does actually, especially tanning in those tanning beds. it causes cancer. in asia, its just a beauty standard just like how tan skin is a beauty standard in western countries.
