@lakwjejdnfjr181 There are actually two mistakes that are related to the instructor's slides. Both can be easily corrected by referring to the FAA Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge H-8083-25C pages 17-4 and 17-5. The third symptom on the list for hypoxia is "DECREASED response to stimuli and INCREASED reaction time". A student recognized the mistake. However, the instructor failed to understand that his slide was wrong, but instead claimed that the wording was due to common core math. He then tries to redefine the word "decrease" as "less favorable" and then adds insult to injury with his follow up statements about America's youth especially 21 year olds. The second mistake is the list for hyperventilation. The list presented is almost an exact same list for hypoxia with the exception of the last two symptoms. The only similarities are visual impairment, lightheaded or dizziness and tingling sensations. The list can be found on page 17-5. It states in the previous paragraph that "Since many of the symptoms of hyperventilation are similar to those of hypoxia, it is important to correctly diagnose and treat the proper condition." The instructor has obviously interpreted this to mean that hyperventilation and hypoxia share a copy and paste list of symptoms.

This instructor made a few mistakes in this video, both in what he said and what is presented on his slides.
What were the mistakes?
